by The most anticipated Indian film of year 2022 titled RRR has been released in theatres today. One of the biggest director of Indian cinema industry ‘S.S. Rajamouli’ has directed this film and it features Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. RRR was earlier scheduled to release in cinemas on 30 July 2020 but then its release date got deferred a lot of times due to production delays and also because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, the film has been released worldwide on 25 March 2022. After the massive success of S.S. Rajamouli’s two back to back masterpieces ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ there are very high expectations from RRR and we will tell whether it has actually delivered after the massive hype or not.
RRR (2022) Film Story Details:
A british general named Scott and his wife visits Adilabad district in year 1920 and from there they forcefully abducted a Gond tribe girl named Malli to make her their maidservant. To bring back Malli her saviour Komaram Bheem arrives in Delhi with his men. Nizam of Hyderabad warns Scott about Bheem’s arrival. Scott hires a Indian officer named Alluri Sitarama Raju to assassinate Bheem but due to some interesting twists and turns Bheem and Raju becomes best friends.
Will Bheem manage to save Malli from Scott’s clutches or will he get assassinated by his best friend Raju. To find out about all of this you need to watch RRR in theatres.
RRR (2022) Film Star Cast Performance Analysis:
If you are a fan of Ajay Devgn and you got disappointed seeing the trailer of RRR well let us tell you that he has stolen the show here with his spectacular post interval performance. You will see him in a well executed flashback sequence, highlighting the dilemma and emotional trauma experienced by Ram Charan’s character. Devgn’s role somewhat exceeded the standards set by Sudeep’s character in Baahubali: The Beginning.
The friendly chemistry between Jr. NTR and Ram Charan is also a spectacle to watch and Jr. NTR has knocked it out of the stadium as far as the action sequences are concerned.
Alia Bhatt is a bit of a disappointment throughout this film as she had a cameo appearance and romantic sequences are the weakest parts of this film.
Shriya Saran has not got too much scope to showcase her acting talent in this film and quite honestly S.S. Rajamouli could have done a way better job with the highly talented actress.
RRR (2022) Film Positive and Negative Points:
Positives:
- Pre Interval showdown between Jr. NTR and Ram Charan is a treat to watch
- Ajay Devgn steals the show with his extended cameo appearance as Venkata Rama Raju
- Production value is top notch
- Action packed climax hits all the right cords
- Songs have situational appeal and Nacho Nacho is awesome
Negatives:
- First half is a bit slow paced
- Romantic scenes completely failed to deliver
- Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran failed to shine
RRR (2022) Film Final Verdict:
In our opinion RRR is one of S.S. Rajamouli’s best work till date after Baahubali franchise and this is a film you should not miss even if you have to pay double for the ticket price. All three top stars Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Jr. NTR have absolutely smashed it with their brilliant acting performances. Seems like Rajamouli has another big franchise in his hands now and it will be interesting to see that whether we will get to see a sequel of this film in near future or not.
