RRR (2022) Film Fourth Day Collection in India – Both Hindi and South Indian Belts Report

Since the release of RRR in theatres makers were quite concerned as its Hindi versions collections were falling way short of expectations but now it appears that they don’t need to take tension anymore because this S.S. Rajamouli directorial has recovered very well in North India due to which on Sunday 27 March 2022 it managed to gross ₹ 31.50 crores from its Hindi dubbed shows in India. Only from its Hindi dubbed version RRR has made a box office collection of ₹ 74.50 crores in 3 days and by tomorrow we are expecting RRR to cross ₹ 100 crores marks from its Hindi belts biz. Wave of Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files is slowly dying down in the North India and RRR is completely taking over which is very much evident from these latest collection figures.

In the opening 3 days RRR joined the ₹ 500 crores club with its global box office biz and more then likely till the end of this week RRR will each the ₹ 1000 crores collection mark. Everyone got shocked when they heard that producers have spent ₹ 550 crores in the making of RRR but right now it looks like they will easily get all their investment back with great profits. A huge screen count of about 6200 screens across India was allotted to RRR before its release and as we all know that ‘The Kashmir Files’ business is slowing down now so its quite possibility that more screens will get allotted to RRR in the coming days.

Due to the positive public word of mouth ‘RRR’ business is witnessing great growth with every passing day. Earlier in North Indian states like Delhi, UP, Punjab, and Haryana tickets of this film were easily available but now since the amazing audience feedback has started coming out, it has become quite difficult to get the tickets because most of RRR tickets in these Northern states are already being sold out in advance. Even in UT of Jammu where The Kashmir Files was clearly dominating for the first 2 weeks, now it seems that RRR has absolutely side-lined TKF in that part of India.

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is receiving a lot of praise for his brilliant acting performance as Venkata Rama Raju in RRR. He has a extended cameo in the film and many people are now comparing his role in RRR to Sudeep’s character in Baahubali: The Beginning. Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran are also getting appreciation from the audience for their acting in this movie, although they are just mere side characters in this film. Hard hitting climax of RRR is earning the most amount of praise as S.S. Rajamouli has done a fantastic job with his direction.

Telugu, Tamil, Mayalalam, and Kannada versions of RRR are currently absolutely sweeping it right now at Indian box office. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are the biggest key markets for this film but at the same time in Karnataka, RRR’s business is improving and especially in Bengaluru city many of its shows are getting packed crowds. Tickets are still gettiing sold for ₹ 2500 – ₹3000 in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana and you will be amazed to know that people are ready to pay even more amount of money for RRR’s tickets in these 2 states but they are unfortunately not available for next few days due to heavy pre-booking.

Day 4 overall occupancy rate of RRR across India has been recorded around 75% – 85% and these figures are slightly low as compared to previous 3 days because in Hindi belts its overall growth has declined a bit today. Fortunately in South Indian markets RRR is still going quite strong and today in India this Jr NTR. and Ram Charan starrer has grossed the most amount of income from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

4th Day (Monday) Collection of RRR in India is  ₹ 105 crores (approximately)
