by KGF Chapter 2 has successfully passed the crucial Monday test as the Prashanth Neel directorial sequel film has made a box office collection of ₹ 25.57 crores on 5th day from its Hindi version only. Not only that but KGF 2 has also joined the ₹ 200 crores club on Day 5 as in the first 5 days this film has made a total income of ₹ 219.56 crores from Hindi belts of India only. There is a very high possibility that KGF 2 might break the box office record of Aamir Khan’s Dangal as the biographical sports film which was released back in December 2016 made a income of 387.38 crores (Hindi Version Only) from its India biz.
The hype of KGF 2 gave nightmares to many Bollywood directors and only because of its massive craze Jersey makers decided to delay the release of their Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer by a week but even now it seems that still its not the best time to release Jersey because the hype of KGF 2 has not went down even a single bit and surely this Kannada periodic action film will eat up the whole business of Bollywood’s sports drama remake venture.
At Global box office KGF Chapter 2 has already surpassed the ₹ 600 crores collection figure and that too only within the first 5 days. At Indian box office, KGF 2 shined once again on Tuesday 19 April 2022. Maharashtra, Delhi, Jammu, UP, Punjab, Haryana, and Gujarat are the key markets where this film had made the most amount of impact on Day 6. KGF Chapter 2 Overall Occupancy Rate on 6th Day has been estimated around 58% – 68% as most of its evening and night shows yet again went houseful in the key markets and even in South Indian belts this film is doing extremely well because it is completely dominating both RRR and Beast in those regions.
