After the grand success of Kabir Singh, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest film based on toxic relationships titled ‘Animal’ is set to hit the cinemas all across India on 1 December 2023 and we are glad to tell you that we are here with the early in-depth review of this film, thanks to the special screenings which were recently held in Mumbai for a limited amount of critics and experts.
Let us start the review by saying that Animal is the best film made by Sandeep Reddy Vanga till date as this adult rated family drama puts even Kabir Singh to shame when it comes to showing the reality of real life toxic relations in a bold manner.
Ranbir Kapoor is the heart and soul of this film and this is his best performance on screen since Sanju. The on-screen chemistry of Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor with Ranbir in Animal is quite impressive as the trio has made sure to keep the viewers invested in this 3 and 21 minutes long film with their brilliant acting.
Bobby Deol as the main villain has truly shined in the 2nd half, but the fight scenes choreography could’ve been done in a much better way.
If you are a lover of violence in films, then you will definitely love watching Animal as you will see Ranbir Kapoor using knives, meat cleavers, guns, and blades throughout this film.
Animal also contains some very controversial sexual content and that along with the gory fight scenes has forced the censor board to give it an adult rating.
Overall Animal is a tit for tat action drama which is filled with the various flavours of emotions, domestic abuse, plot twists, and revenge that will keep you on the edge of your seats for the entirety of 3 hours 21 minutes.
Although Animal is not a family film, but its a must watch for the adult audience.
Our final rating for Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is 4/5*
