The auditions continued in Episode 3 of MasterChef India Season 10, which aired on January 7, 2026. In this episode, aspiring home cooks from regions such as Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Delhi showcased their culinary talents. Judges Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Ranveer Brar, and Chef Kunal Kapur were seen reviewing and evaluating their dishes.

Pair 1: Mahfooz Alam Ansari and Yasmin Ansari (Chhattisgarh) – A brother-sister duo from Chhattisgarh presented an international-level dish made from local ingredients such as wild honey, ants, and palash flowers.

The judges were quite impressed with the beautiful presentation and the unique concept of their dish. Chef Kunal Kapur mentioned that he had rarely seen such an authentic representation of tribal cuisine. The judges awarded them the selection apron, qualifying them for the next round.

Pair 2: Mayank Raja and Alpana Agarwal (Rajasthan) – A husband-wife duo from Rajasthan shared the story of how they first met at a wedding and then presented their dish, Rangeela Rajasthan.

They explained all the ingredients used in their preparation. The judges appreciated the taste and presentation. Ultimately, the couple received the selection apron as the judges loved their flavours and teamwork, securing them a place in the next round.

Pair 3: Ratan Lal Sharma and Manisha Sharma (Rajasthan) – Manisha Sharma, also known as Chef Mini, appeared with her father. She shared her emotional story, revealing that she suffers from secondary Parkinson’s disease but continues to pursue her passion for cooking.

Manisha gave the finishing touches to her dish in front of the judges. Chef Ranveer Brar praised her, calling her “magical.” Although the judges admired her dish and dedication, they decided not to select her for the next round. However, they saluted her spirit and love for cooking.

Pair 4: Saurav Kumar and Sakshi Kapoor (Delhi) – Saurav Kumar, known as Bunty Meat Waala from Delhi, came with his sister-in-law, Sakshi Kapoor. Saurav told the judges that he sells the most expensive mutton in Delhi, with one plate costing around ₹1,200.

He served dishes named Bakre Ke Nakhre Noodles and Mutton Curry with Paratha. The judges enjoyed the flavours, especially Chef Kunal, who appreciated Saurav’s creativity.

Chef Ranveer Brar said he didn’t want to see Saurav in the next round, giving him a “no.” However, Chef Vikas Khanna praised his passion and gave him a “yes.” Chef Kunal also voted “yes,” and Saurav, along with Sakshi, advanced to the next round. Ranveer Brar warned them to prove him wrong through their hard work.

Pair 5: Nirmala Shekhawat and Lakhsingh Pawar (Rajasthan) – A brother-sister duo from Rajasthan who run their own snack business named Marwadi Manwar came with a traditional Marwari thali. They shared their journey and background with the judges.

The thali contained 17 different elements, and all three judges loved the taste and authenticity. The duo received a unanimous “yes” and the selection apron, earning their spot in the next round.

Special Guest Appearance: Anil Bhai Thakkar and Dr. Komal Patel (Gujarat) – A Pani Puri vendor from Gujarat, Anil Bhai Thakkar, who closely resembles Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, made a special appearance. He shared how people started calling him “Modi Kaka” and “Modi Uncle” because of his uncanny resemblance.

Anil Bhai served a variety of Pani Puris to all three judges, who thoroughly enjoyed his creations. After interacting with them, he bid farewell to the MasterChef kitchen.

The episode concluded with inspiring stories, especially that of Manisha Sharma, and some lighthearted moments with the PM Modi look-alike.
