Kayden Carter & Katana Chance retained their NXT Women’s tag team titles against Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley and Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin in a Three Way tag team match. In the final moments of the match, Ivy Nile tried to choke out Carter but Carter had luck on her side as Nile fell on her back and eventually got pinned.
Rey Mysterio beats Angel Garza of Los Lotharios in a singles match. Karrion Kross and Scarlett were keeping an eye on Mysterio from the crowd.
The USOS successfully retained the Undisputed Tag Team Titles against the Hit Row.
Braun Strowman and Ricochet beats Imperium in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. Presents were spread everywhere around the ring during this match and they were used as weapons. The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) were dressed as nutcrackers underneath one of the presents. Ricochet at one point was hurt, being tended to by WWE officials and bleeding. He recovered and scored the winning Pinfall for his team.
WWE SmackDown 23 DEC 2022 All Promo Segments Written Updates :
Bray Wyatt came to the ring and cuts a promo segment. Wyatt said that LA Knight owes him an apology after the Uncle Howdy reveal last week. Wyatt ends up hitting the camera man.
Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline came out to the ring for a promo segment. Solo Sikoa vs Sheamus was added to the December 30 SmackDown episode in Tampa, Florida. During the promo, Sami Zayn said that Kevin Owens is like a black cloud that is still following him.
