Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi starrer Indian reality based film The Kashmir Files is still going strong at box office on the week 2. On second Monday i.e. 21 March 2022, this Vivek Agnihotri directorial made a box office gross of ₹ 12.40 crores which took its total 11 days collection to ₹ 179.85 crores. Running on about 4000 screens right now The Kashmir Files might soon hit the ₹ 200 crores in the next couple of days and that will be a great achievement for this small budget film.
Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions of The Kashmir Files are yet to be released as right now they are getting dubbed. It will be interesting to see whether after the release of other other language versions this film will manage to hit the ₹ 300 crores collection milestone or not. S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR is releasing in theatres this Friday and definitely knowing the craze for Rajamouli’s films, the Kashmir Files business might go down a bit in the week 3.
The Kashmir Files absolutely demolished Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Paandey at Indian box office and that in itself proves that quality content always wins over money and resources when its comes to the entertainment industry. Most of the BJP ruled states have already made it tax free and many people in Northern parts of Indian have already watched twice or even thrice.
Today on Tuesday, 22 March 2022, The Kashmir Files business suffered a slight decrease because of the working day. Morning and noon shows were mostly running with 40% – 50% crowd and the summer heat in India is also a major reason for that. During the evening and night shows its biz picked up pretty well as most shows were running with 65% – 75% crowd which is just fantastic.
Twelfth Day Collection of The Kashmir Files in India is ₹ 10.25 crores
