Bachchan Paandey 5th Day Collection (Tuesday 22 March 2022) Box Office Kamai Report

Comedy action film Bachchan Paandey has been flopped at box office big time and the biggest reason behind this is the blunder committed by makers as they released this movie at a time when the juggernaut named The Kashmir Files was completely rocking the India cinema markets. Recently the makers of this film re-negotiated their OTT release deal with Amazon Prime for a 4-week theatrical window which was 6 weeks initially for a whopping total amount of ₹80 crores and this was done in order to recover the budget as well as made a little bit of profit.

Although producer Sajid Nadiadwala might make a small profit by selling the OTT as well as Satellite rights of Bachchan Paandey at hefty amounts but still this profit is not going to be satisfactory at all. Just like many experts we are also of the same view that Bachchan Paandey is Farhad Samji’s best direction till date after making disasters like Housefull 4 and Entertainment but still this film is nowhere up to the mark to entice audience to buy tickets in this Summer heat and watch it in theatres.

Makers of Bachchan Paandey have somewhat done great injustice to a brilliant actress like Kriti Sanon as despite having so much of talent she was not given too much scope to shine in this film. It would have been a lot better if makers had postponed the release of Bachchan Paandey after realizing that it doesn’t stand any chance in front of The Kashmir Files and even RRR later on in the coming week.

Today on Tuesday 22 March 222, Bachchan Paandey’s box office business suffered big time as many shows were seen getting only 15% – 25% audience in the morning and noon shows and even in the evening and night shows only 25% – 35% crowd was present in the cinema halls. After the release of RRR this Friday its quite possible that Bachchan Paandey will lose a huge chunk of screens.

Bachchan Paandey Fifth Day Collection in India is ₹ 2.50 crores (approximately)
