Shark Tank India Season 2 EP 6 Written Updates (9 January 2023) – Biggest Deals, All Pitches & Investments Made

Shark Tank India Season 2 episode 6 on Monday, 9 January 2023 has already been aired on Sony TV and we saw a lady named Jyoti Bharadwaj making a pitch along with her kids for her healthy tea brand. A social activist came and he made a pitch for his welfare schemes based platform. In the end, sharks were offered a percentage of equity in a Puranpoli brand.

Shark Tank 2 Episode 6 All Pitches and Deals Made – Full Info :

First Pitch – Jyoti Bharadwaj – Founder of TeaFIT – She came with her two kids and investors loved seeing them. She made a pitch for her beverage brand and she said that it has no sugar as well as no preservatives. She asked for Rs 50 lakhs for 3% Equity.

Jyoti said that she takes her kids to all her business meetings and she doesn’t give any sugar to her kids. Anupam Mittal loved that she doesn’t give much sugar to her children. She gave sample tea to all the investors. Aman Gupta didn’t loved the first drink he tasted and both Vineeta & Jyoti started laughing. He tasted another drink and he liked it.

It was revealed that each bottle of the tea costs Rs 120 and Jyoti said that there is a market in India for such expensive tea. She gave the full breakdown of the money she invests on making each tea bottle.

Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and Aman Gupta said that they will give her an offer. Jyoti revealed that she has given some share of the company to her mother-in-law. Namita said that she is out because the investors who are offering her, they can help her in brand building.

Vineeta said that she and Anupam Mittal will come together and she offered her Rs 50 lakhs for 25% equity. Peyush Bansal said that he is offering her Rs 50 lakhs for 20% equity. Aman Gupta gave her a offer of Rs 50 lakhs for 10% Equity. Vineeta, Anupam, and Peyush also said that we will also give yu Rs 50 lakhs for 10% Equity.

Finally the deal was made with Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta, and Vineeta Singh at Rs 50 lakhs for 8% Equity.

Second Pitch – Aniket Doegar – Founders of HaqDarshak – He made a pitch for his welfare based platform for small businesses and asked for Rs 1 crore for 0.5% Equity. Agent of HaqDarshak named Jyoti Mule also came and she told investors about all the welfare schemes they made people aware about. She said that she earns around Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per month.

Jyoti said that she is from a tribal family and she is thinking about contesting elections. Aniket said that about 200 people work with him. He said that 90% women workforce works with him. He said that his company works on B2B Model and his business is based on high volume low margin.

Peyush Bansal asked Aniket his age and he said that he is 33 Years old after hearing this Peyush told him that he looks very mature.

Finally Peyush Bansal offered Aniket Rs 1 crore for 2% equity. Anupam Mittal said that he can’t match Peyush’s offer and he wishes Aniket best. Vineeta also said that she is out. Namita said that me and Aman will match Peyush’s offer but with debt i.e. Rs 50 lakhs for 1% Equity and another Rs 50 lakhs in Debt at 10% interest.

Aniket gave a counter offer to all three investors to come together and then finally the deal was made at Rs 1 Crore for 2% Equity with Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and Aman Gupta.

Third Pitch – Vittal Shetty, Bhaskar KR, Saurabh Choudhary – Founders of Bhaskar’s Puranpoli Ghar – They made a pitch for their Puranpoli brand and they said that they serve 400 varieties of snacks as well as 25 different types of Puranpoli. They offered 1% Equity for Rs 75 lakhs.

Bhaskar said that he is from Karnataka and he can’t speak Hindi well. He told investors about his struggle. Bhaskar told them that they have a total of 18 outlets. Finally Puranpoli was served to all the investors and they loved it. Vineeta and Anupam loved pineapple flavour while Peyush and Namita liked coconut flavour of Puranpoli.

Peyush Bansal told them that why are you investing in your own shops rather then investing in franchises. They said that its their next plan. Vineeta Singh said that she is out because she has multiple issues. Peyush Bansal said that its better for me to invest in buying your franchise rather then buying equity. Anupam Mittal said that it seems that you people just came here for marketing and that’s why he is out.

Peyush Bansal also said that he is out because he wants at least 10%-15% equity. Namita Thapar also said that she is out. Finally Aman Gupta also said that he is out and at last no deal was made.
