by The mind blowing performance of Kannada sequel periodic action film KGF Chapter 2 continued in the second week as Rocking Star Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and Sanjay Dutt starrer venture made a income of ₹ 11.56 crores from its Hindi version biz only on the 9th day. Overall KGF 2 has grossed a massive amount of ₹ 280.19 crores in the 9 days from its Hindi dubbed version only and definitely it will soon join the ₹ 300 crores club as there is a high possibility that it will achieve this milestone by the end of 2nd weekend.
Even at Worldwide box office KGF 2 is currently inching towards ₹ 800 crores collection mark and according to many experienced & well known trade analysts of the industry, KGF 2 might leave S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR behind in the coming days as far as its Global earnings are concerned. Even in the South Indian belts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, KGF 2 is showing clear dominance at present.
Quite interestingly Yash has not changed his look even after the release of KGF 2 in theatres and there are high chances that he will keep on this look of Rocky Bhai for a long time as makers already have plans in place of KGF Chapter 3. KGF 2 was made with an average budget of ₹ 100 crores but in the opening 2 weeks this film dominated the likes of Tamil film Beast and Bollywood film Jersey, interestingly both these films are being made with a budget of ₹ 150 crores ₹ 100 crores each which is almost equal and ₹ 50 crores more then the entire budget of KGF 2 and this shows how good of a film KGF 2 actually is.
Today on Saturday i.e. 23 April 2022, KGF 2 got amazing audience response in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, and Karnataka. In most of the Hindi speaking regions it once again side-lined Jersey as people were mostly seen opting for KGF 2 over the Shahid Kapoor & Mrunal Thakur starrer Bollywood film. Also as expected a little bit of growth was witnessed in the overall biz of KGF 2 on day 10.
