Attack (2022) Film Second Day Collection in India – 2nd April (Saturday) Box Office Income Report

Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, Hindi film Attack was released yesterday in theatres all across India as well as overseas and despite getting above average reviews from most of the critics, Attack failed to make an impact on the opening day at box office. Attack has only made a collection of ₹ 3.51 crores on the first day and now makers are worried because this super-soldier sci-fi thriller might not be able to recover the budget of ₹ 95 crores from its theatrical run. As per inside sources makers of Attack are already considering making a deal with some big OTT Platform for a early release window so that they can recover their investment on its making.

Before the release of Attack, at a promotional event John Abraham made a controversial statement in which he said, “I will never do a regional film. I am a Hindi film hero. I will never do a film as a second lead just to be there. I am not going to do a Telugu or any regional film like other actors just to be in that business.” This statement by John made many Tollywood fans upset and now after seeing the disastrous opening of Attack those fans have started to mock the lead actor on social media.

Recently on Twitter, trade analyst and film critic ‘Rohit Jaiswal’ made a claim in which he stated, “From today (2 April 2022) many shows of Attack will be transferred to RRR in Hindi Belt.” Although we cannot confirm right now whether this is actually true or not but if there is any legitimacy to this statement then surely its a big jolt to the producers of Attack and at the same time its quite insulting too.

Not only RRR but even Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is also giving a tough time to Attack in Hindi belts. It is quite apparent that Indian audience has gotten very smart with time as star power doesn’t guarantee the success of a film anymore because big Bollywood stars like John and Jacqueline are failing to pull the audience to the cinema halls.

Business of Attack on day 2 in India didn’t witnessed any major growth unfortunately. Again on Saturday this film struggled badly at key Hindi belts and overall occupancy rate of Attack on 2nd day has been estimated around 25% – 35% which is awful because this film is running on a very low number of screens across India. If Attack failed to make any improvement tomorrow at box office India then surely its Game Over for this John Abraham starrer.

2nd Day (Saturday) Collection of Attack in India is  ₹ 3.75 crores
