Jersey (2022) Hindi Film 4th Day Collection in India – 25 April (Monday) Box Office Income Report

Written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Bollywood sports drama remake film Jersey has been absolutely fell flat at box office India as it has made a poor box office collection of only ₹ 16.25 crores in the opening weekend. There are a lot of factors because of which Jersey flopped at Indian box office but the biggest of them all is the blockbuster monster named KGF Chapter 2 as despite of avoiding the day 1 clash with Prashanth Neel directorial, the PAN India sequel action film still dominated Jersey throughout India because of which it has emerged as 3rd big Bollywood flop in a row after Attack, and Bachchan Paandey.

As per many India film experts Bollywood has completely lost the plot and the recent failures of Jersey, Attack, and Bachchan Paandey are the biggest examples of that. Indian audience is fed up of watching back to back remakes and films on social messages & taboo subjects, they want mass entertainers and South Indian films are serving that because of which Bollywood films like Jersey are suffering and South Indian films like KGF 2 are becoming box office hits.

Netflix India already has plans in place to release Jersey on their streaming service by the end of May 2022 as they are waiting only for 28 days clause to end. Although if you still want to watch this film in Hindi then its better if you watch the original Nani starrer Jersey (2019) on YouTube as it is available on the platform for free and that too with Hindi dubbing.

Success of Jersey at box office India was quite important for newcomer actress Mrunal Thakur as she has just started her Bollywood career after quitting the ITV industry but it seems that she also needs to be very careful before choosing scripts in the near future because one or two more flops like Jersey might finish her career forever.

Jersey once again suffered from poor overall occupancy rate on Day 4 in India. The film witnessed a steep decline in its overall biz at both single screens and PVR’s. Now it will be stupidity to keep anymore expectations from this film as we can say that without any iota of doubt that Jersey is a super flop film and its overall box office income in the first 4 days is biggest proof to authenticate this statement.

4th Day (Monday) Collection of Jersey in India is  ₹ 1.40 crores (approximately)
