The entire internet was devastated yesterday on 2 February 2023, when the news of Poonam Pandey’s death broke out, but it turns out that the 32 year old model is still alive and it was all a publicity stunt to create awareness on Cervical Cancer.
Netizens are looking very angry after finding out that Poonam Pandey played with their emotions by faking her death for such a cheap publicity stunt and now many are requesting the authorities to immediately arrest her along with her entire PR team.
4th February 2024 will be celebrated as World Cancer Day this year and Poonam pulled off this publicity stunt in order to create awareness on the measures to prevent Cervical cancer.
Poonam Posted a video on her official Instagram handle at around 12:30 PM on 3 February 2024 and this is what she said :
“I’m alive. I didn’t die because of Cervical Cancer. Unfortunately, I cannot say that about those hundreds and thousands of women who have lost their lives because of Cervical Cancer. It is not because they couldn’t do anything about it, because they had no idea what to do about it. I’m here to tell you that unlike other cancers, Cervical Cancer is preventable. All you have to do is you have to get your tests done and you have to get HPV vaccine. We can do all this and more to make sure there is no more life lost to this disease.”
