by Controversial Indian model turned reality TV star Poonam Pandey recently passed away on Friday, 2 February 2024, due to cervical cancer and the netizens are in a state of shock since the sad news of Poonam’s demise broke out on the internet.
Poonam Pandey’s manager Parul Chawla issued a statement to media in which she revealed that the young model was diagnosed with a final stage of cervical cancer quite recently and she took her last breathe at her hometown Uttar Pradesh, and her funeral will take place there.
The news of young Poonam Pandey’s sad demise broke out with a social media post shared on her official Instagram handle and the statement issued was as follows :
” The morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”

Poonam Pandey came into limelight in year 2011, when she made the controversial promise to her fans that she will strip all her clothes publicly, if India manages to lift the world cup. India won the cup, but Poonam never fulfilled her promise.
Later on, she made her Bollywood debut in year 2013 from Nasha and she played the role of Anita Joseph in that film.
In 2022, she participated in Kangna Ranaut’s Bigg Boss-esque reality show named Lock UPP and she ended up at 7th place in that show.
