Shark Tank India Season 2 EP 5 Written Updates (6 January 2023) – Biggest Deals, All Pitches & Investments Made

Shark Tank India’s episode no. 5 was a big eye-opener for many as we might have witnessed the end of a major Shoe brand like Flatheads. Three young dudes from Sonipat presented a deal for their herbal smokes brand and they made all three Sharks laugh a lot. Also a deal was made by two investors with a Salon products making company.

Shark Tank 2 Episode 5 All Pitches and Deals Made – Full Info :

First Pitch – Himanshu Adlakha and Nikita Adlakha – Founders of Winston – They made an entry wearing some face gear and then they made their pitch for their Salon products. Himanshu made a offer of 4% Equity for Rs 1 crore. They said that their products are made in China.

Anupam Mittal said that their products look very nice. Himanshu told the prices of their Face Cleanser and Trimmer after which sharks got shocked. Himanshu responds that our products have in-built battery and they can be charged with a USB Charger. Nikita said that only product doesn’t make a brand. Himanshu said that this year we will make a earning of Rs 6 crores.

Namita Thapar said that she won’t use Chinese products because of trust deficit and their products look very gimmicky because of which she is out. Himanshu said that this month they have a target of Rs 47 lakhs earnings.

Anupam Mittal said that if you can’t make me understand about your business model then I will be out of it. Peyush Bansal said Aman Gupta can be a good partner in this business and because of this he is out.

Anupam Mittal said that I and Vineeta Singh will offer you a deal which is 1 crore for 10% interest. Aman Gupta said that he is out because of conflict of interest.

Finally they accepted the deal by Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh which is Rs 1 crore for 10% Equity.

Second Pitch – Ganesh Balakrishnan – Founders of Flatheads – He made the pitch for his Flatheads shoe company and he said that all his shoes are made in India. Ganesh offered 3% Equity for Rs 75 lakhs.

Ganesh gives the Flathead shoes to all the investors and Peyush Bansal said that they are very comfortable. Aman Gupta said that the style factor is missing in these shoes. Ganesh said that people buy our shoes to wear and not to buy.

Ganesh said that his co-founder has stepped back as per their agreement and he will buy back the 30% equity allotted to him. Ganesh told Anupam that we are running in a loss currently and in last two months, we had to spent money from our own savings i.e. Rs 35 lakhs.

Ganesh showed a cheap shoe to Vineeta Singh and she said that it feels very light. He told Peyush Bansal that as per our investors, this company can close at any point. Ganesh said that Pandemic effected our sales a lot because people were not going out.

Namita Thapar said that she is scared that she won’t get her money back and that’s why she is out. Ganesh said that he will send his inventory to international market after getting the investment. Investors said Ouch hearing this.

Anupam Mittal said that for an entrepreneur fundamental duty is survival. Ganesh said that he is thinking about finding a job and he has talked to a few friends. Aman Gupta said that he did a job as well during the time he was not succeeding and then he restarted business after earning the money.

Anupam Mittal said that if you want to do a job Ganesh then I can give it to you but I am out of this deal. Aman Gupta said that he will be out as well. Peyush Bansal offered Rs 75 lakhs for 33.3% Equity and a condition that he has to do whatever is necessary to save the company.

Vineeta Singh told Ganesh and that she wants to join Peyush Bansal in this deal. Ganesh talked with his people. Ganesh said that he needs to evaluate his priorities right now and he needs a couple of years. He got teary eyed while talking about it.

Finally Ganesh left without a deal and all the investors gave him a hug.

Third Pitch – Gaurav Chhabra, Nitin Chhabra, and Piyush Chhabra – Founders of Organic Smokes – They did a rap at the start and then they started telling investors about their herbal product. Gaurav offered investors 1% equity in their company for Rs 1 crore. All three of them made investors laugh a lot with their funny style of pitch.

Gaurav, Piyush, and Nitin showed the products to the investors. Nitin said that last month they made sales of Rs 40 lakhs and Namita got shocked. Namita said that I don’t have any expertise in this area and because of this I am out.

Anupam Mittal said that their claim of it not being harmful is completely bogus. It turns out that they were selling their products to the distributors and not directly to consumers. Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal said that they both are out. Vineeta Singh said that she is still confused and that’s why she is out. Peyush Bansal also said that he is out..
