Shark Tank India Season 2 EP 14 Written Updates (19 January 2023) – Biggest Investments, All Deals & Pitches Made

Shark Tank India Season 2 Episode 14 on Sony TV has already been aired on 19 January 2023 and we watched two young siblings offering a deal to the investors to invest money in their camping products brand. A couple came and they made a interesting pitch for their Parathas & Pakodas company. At last, four entrepreneurs came and they made a pitch for their eco-friendly furniture making company.

Shark Tank 2 Episode 14 All Pitches and Deals Made – Full Details :

First Pitch – Smratika Sharma and Abhay Sharma – Founders of Kyari Innovations – They made a pitch for their Camping products making brand and they said that their products saves people from wild animals while camping. They asked for Rs 51 lakhs for 1% Equity and then Smratika told sharks that both of them are siblings.

Abhay gave a demo of their products to Amit Jain and Peyush Bansal. He told them that their smart sticks gives a shock of 10,000 volts and they don’t harm animals but they will definitely run away from its shock. Smratika said that their products ranges between Rs 10,000-Rs 17,500. Abhay told investors that they are following lean manufacturing and they have an in-house facility.

Namita Thapar along with Aman Gupta gave them an offer of Rs 51 lakhs for 10% Equity. Peyush Bansal along with Anupam Mittal and Amit Jain gave them an offer of Rs 51 lakhs for 12% Equity. Abhay made a counter offer to the Sharks and he said that he can offer them 2% Equity at maximum. Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal gave them a final offer of Rs 80 lakhs for 8% Equity.

Finally the deal was made with Anupam Mittal and Peyush Bansal for Rs 51 lakhs for 6% Equity.

Second Pitch – Geetika Anand Gupta and Gaurav Gupta – Founders of MOPP Foods – They made a pitch for their Parathas and Pakoda brand after which they asked for a investment of Rs 75 lakhs in their company in return of 2.25% Equity. Full form of their company MOPP Foods is Mad Over Parathas & Pakodas.

Finally they served their veg and non-veg Parathas and Pakodas to the sharks. Geetika told investors that we have a magical recipe to keep our Parathas crisp but we can’t tell that recipe.

Namita Thapar tells Geetika and Gaurav that she is out because she doesn’t have any expertise in this area. Anupam Mittal said that he doesn’t think that he will get any return on his investment and that’s why he is out. Peyush Bansal said that he doesn’t agree with their vision and that’s why he is out. Aman Gupta also tells them that he is out because of same reasons as other sharks.

Amit Jain offered them Rs 50 lakhs for 5% Equity and Rs 25 lakhs in debt. Geetika tells him that we can make a deal on this offer by giving you 5% equity for Rs 50 lakhs but please remove the debt.

Finally the deal was made with Amit Jain for Rs 50 lakhs for 5% Equity.

Third Pitch – Ashish Modak, Madhur Rathi, Bhushan Boob, and Roshan Pidiyar – Founders of Econiture – They made a pitch for their company which makes furniture with recycled materials. They asked for Rs 50 lakhs for 8% Equity. They told investors about the process of making recycled products based furniture.

Namita Thapar asks the cost of their Bench and it was Rs 15,000. Amit Jain asks the price of their Beach chair and it was Rs 18,000. They said that the shipping cost for their furniture is Rs 3000.

Aman Gupta tells them that this business has a lot of logistic issues and that’s why he is out. Namita Thapar tells them that she can’t add any value in this business and that’s why she is out. Peyush Bansal said that he is out because of the challenges. Peyush Bansal gave them an order of 1000 benches.

Anupam Mittal said that he is out because of the scaling problem. Amit Jain tells them that the market of this business is not that big right now and that’s why he is out.

Finally no deal was made.
