S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR which is on the verge of breaking one box office record after another record has just shattered another big milestone as the South Indian periodic action drama film has crossed the lifetime collection of Baahubali: The Beginning and that too within opening 5 days. Baahubali: The Beginning grossed ₹ 586.45 crores worldwide through its lifetime biz and RRR has earned ₹ 600+ crores worldwide in just 5 days. Not only that RRR has also crossed the lifetime earnings of Baahubali: The Beginning Hindi version by collecting ₹ 107.59 crores in the opening 5 days which gives clear indications that this film is going to write a new chapter in the Indian cinema industry.

Below is the complete date of RRR collections which this film has earned from its Hindi belts business in the opening 5 days :

RRR 5 Days India Gross (Hindi Belts Only) Total Income Earned
Day 1 ₹ 20.07 crores
Day 2 ₹ 24 crores
Day 3 ₹ 31.50 crores
Day 4 ₹ 17 crores
Day 5 ₹ 15.03 crores

The ₹ 600 crores which RRR has grossed from its 6 days worldwide biz, a lion share of this income comes from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The local YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao governments have given huge support to S.S. Rajamouli by increasing the prices of its tickets their respective ruled states. Tickets of this film are still selling at around ₹ 2500 crores – ₹ 3000 in many parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Even after the tickets price hike people are not complaining at all as many fans seems to be ready to pay even more then the hiked price to watch this film in theatre.

Right now in Hindi belts RRR is enjoying an absolute free run but things might change a bit this Friday as John Abraham’s Bollywood super-cop action film Attack is releasing in theatres this Friday and although The Kashmir Files wave has very much slowed down but people might prefer watching Attack over RRR in Hindi belts on the coming Friday.

RRR day 6 overall occupancy rate across India has been estimated around 55% – 65% and in the South India only it has been estimated around 70% – 80% which is fantastic. Although more screens have been allotted by the makers to RRR Hindi versions but still Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions are turning out a lot more profitable for the RRR producers currently.

6th Day (Wednesday) Collection of RRR in India is  ₹ 65 crores (approximately)
