RRR (2022) Film 16th Day Collection in India – Both Hindi and South Indian Belts 3rd Saturday Report

Periodic action drama film RRR has become the third highest grossing Indian film of all time as the Jr. NTR and Ram Charan starrer has grossed more then ₹ 1000 crores at Global box office till now. Aamir Khan’s Dangal is still holding the record of the highest grossing Indian film of all time and on no. 2 spot is Baahubali: The Conclusion. RRR business has somewhat slowed down in the Hindi belts of India but still it is earning at a satisfactory pace to earn ₹ 250 crores lifetime box office collection from Hindi speaking regions of India. Only competitor of RRR in North India at present i.e. Bollywood film Attack, has been been completely rejected by the audience and this came across as a good news for RRR makers.

Makers of RRR are in celebration mode right now as recently a bash was organized at Mumbai which was graced by many popular personalities of the industry including Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, Rakhi Sawant, Javed Akhtar, Huma Qureshi, Johnny Lever, and Palak Tiwari. The party was organized to celebrate the ₹ 1000 crores box office collection milestone which has been achieved by this film recently.

In year 2022 at box office India, apart from RRR, The Kashmir Files is the only other film which has managed to earn more then ₹ 200 crores from the Hindi belts and despite being a South Indian film, RRR has taken the whole North Indian box office by storm and quite successfully it dominated both TKF and Attack in Hindi belts at the same time.

Today on Saturday, 9 April 2022, RRR business witnessed a slight growth at both Hindi as well as South Indian belts of India. RRR 16th day overall occupancy rate across India has been estimated around 50% – 60% which is too good. Most of its late evening and night shows went fully packed with crowds in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra. Tomorrow on Sunday 10 April 2022, some more growth is expected in the business of RRR because there is going to be a weekend Holiday across India.
