RRR (2022) Film 15th Day Collection in India – Both Hindi and South Indian Belts 3rd Friday Report

After successfully grossing ₹ 203.59 crores from its Hindi belts biz in India in the 13 days, Tollywood film RRR is now eying towards ₹ 250 crores lifetime collection from Hindi speaking regions of India only. Nobody has imagined that this film will become such a blockbuster success in the Hindi markets of India but quite interestingly it is the only 2nd film of 2022 after The Kashmir Files which has grossed more then ₹ 200 crores in the Hindi belts of India. This film will get a complete free run at box office India for this week as well because Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam starrer Dasvi opted for a direct OTT release.

Below is the complete date of RRR collections which this film has earned from its Hindi belts business in the opening 14 days :

RRR 14 Days India Gross (Hindi Belts Only) Total Income Earned
Day 1 ₹ 20.07 crores
Day 2 ₹ 24 crores
Day 3 ₹ 31.50 crores
Day 4 ₹ 17 crores
Day 5 ₹ 15.03 crores
Day 6 ₹ 13 crores
Day 7 ₹ 12 crores
Day 8 ₹ 13.50 crores
Day 9 ₹ 18 crores
Day 10 ₹ 20.50 crores
Day 11 ₹ 7 crores
Day 12 ₹ 6.50 crores
Day 13 ₹ 5.50 crores
Day 14 ₹ 5 crores
Grand Total ₹ 208.59 crores

Success of RRR at box office India is the only reason because of which makers of social comedy film Dasvi opted for a direct OTT release rather then risking a theatrical run because recently released John Abraham starrer Attack flopped very badly in front of RRR, so instead of taking that gamble, the Tushar Jalota directorial was being sold to Netflix for a undisclosed whooping price.

Currently RRR is the third highest grossing India film ever as it has grossed over ₹ 1000 crores at Global Box Office and now only Prabhas starrer Baahubali: The Conclusion and Aamir Khan’s Dangal are ahead of it. Baahubali 2 grossed ₹ 1810 crores from its lifetime biz and Dangal made a lifetime box office collection of ₹ 2024 crores, so it might not be possible for RRR to leave these 2 mega blockbusters behind.

RRR 15th day overall occupancy rate has been recorded around 45% – 55% and as you can see its business has improved a bit from the previous day because of the weekend. In the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, the audience response on Friday 8 April 2022, for this film was quite superb.

15th Day (3rd Friday) Collection of RRR in India is  ₹ 36 crores (approximately)
