RRR (2022) Film 13th Day Collection in India – Both Hindi and South Indian Belts 2nd Wednesday Report

Tollywood film RRR is very near to cross the ₹ 1000 crores collection milestone at Global box office and recently to celebrate this great achievement, the makers of the film organized a special party in Mumbai in which star cast of the film as well as some known faces of the Indian cinema industry were also being invited. RRR is going to be the second S.S. Rajamouli directorial film to achieve this milestone as his previous blockbuster Baahubali: The Conclusion also achieved it. Now it will be quite interesting to see whether RRR can shatter the records of PK and Dangal or not because both these films by Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan are currently at the top of the table as far as box office collections are concerned.

RRR will release on OTT Platforms by the end of April 2022 or early May 2022 as it very much depends on how well this film performs in the coming days. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions OTT rights of RRR are bagged by ZEE5 and it will digitally stream on ZEE5 Premium Service while the OTT rights of Hindi version of RRR are being bagged by Netflix. As per our inside sources, platform owners are very keen on releasing RRR on their respective OTT services and they are just waiting for a green signal from the makers.

As covid19 restrictions are already being lifted in many states of India including Maharashtra, so the business of RRR at Hindi as well as South Indian belts is continuously growing. Even Indian Premier League 15th season is not impacting RRR business. RRR has already overshadowed Bollywood film Attack at the Indian box office and currently across India, this film is enjoying a free run.

RRR 13th day overall occupancy rate across India has been recorded around 42% – 53% and in the South Indian belts it has been estimated around 65% – 75% which is mind blowing. Many people are watching it in theatres twice or even thrice as they are loving the amazing acting performances by Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, and Ajay Devgn, also the amazing direction by S.S. Rajamouli.
