MTV Splitsvilla 15 Episode 9 began with tensions flaring up among the contestants. Overwhelmed by the day’s events, Nayera sought comfort in Digvijay’s embrace and tearfully denied Siwet’s accusations of an attempted kiss, declaring them to be false. She looked to Akriti for support, but instead found herself embroiled in another confrontation. Akriti criticized her for siding with Sachin during the task.
Sachin, meanwhile, found himself at odds with Akriti. He mentioned how convincingly Digvijay had presented his case, to which Akriti sharply reminded him that she had always been clear about moving on if she found someone better — a point now moot as she declared she had indeed found someone new. Their argument escalated quickly, drawing the attention of Jashwanth, who intervened, advising Sachin to tone down his arguments.
Amidst the chaos, Nayera sought out Siwet to clear the air about his allegations. However, Siwet only doubled down, accusing her of wishing harm upon his mother, a claim that left Nayera desperately trying to defend her intentions, though Siwet remained dismissive.
The drama continued as Akriti lashed out at Nayera, blaming her for clinging to past relationships and undermining her own role in the show. Despite their past conflicts, Akriti revealed that she and Siwet had reconciled, questioning Nayera’s judgment in pursuing him despite his flirtatious reputation. Nayera, hurt and frustrated, admitted her naivety in dealing with Siwet.

In a lighter moment, the contestants received gift hampers, but the respite was brief. They were soon notified to prepare for the next challenge, leading everyone to a new location where they were greeted by Tanuj Virwani. Tanuj announced that Sunny was absent but would return soon, and he outlined the day’s competition: contestants proven innocent in previous tasks would compete with their exes.
As the challenge unfolded, it was revealed that those not guilty had the chance to pick new partners. Akriti paired with Jashwanth, Adit with Khanak, and several others formed new teams. The challenge involved a quirky mix of tasks including drinking unappetizing concoctions made by their exes, dancing while wearing blurry goggles, and a physically demanding finale involving a bridge and a code-cracking task.
The stakes were high as Tanuj described the knockout nature of the challenge. Each round eliminated teams, heightening the tension. Amidst the competitive fervour, a mischief box presented contestants with a moral dilemma: secure their safety by sabotaging their team. In a revealing twist, it was disclosed that while most contestants chose not to sabotage their teammates, Sachin had opted yes, a decision that ironically led to his team’s victory but left him in a precarious position.
As the day concluded, the winners celebrated their triumph, while those knocked out reflected on their losses and the intense dynamics of the game continued to evolve, promising more drama and tests of character and strategy in the episodes to come.
