The episode began with Sanjeev Kapoor’s grand entry on the Laughter Chefs set, followed by a humorous reveal that Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi was taking a relaxing break, enjoying coconut water. The contestants got thrilled to see Sanjeev Kapoor, who soon announced the first cooking battle of the evening.

Cooking Battle 1: Bombay Halwa

In the first challenge, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor asked all the celebrity contestants to prepare a popular Indian sweet, Bombay Halwa (also known as Karachi Halwa).

Criteria for Bombay Halwa:

  • 5 pieces of Bombay Halwa
  • Watermelon flavour
  • Soft and bouncy texture
  • Attractive colour
  • Perfect sweetness

Once the criteria were announced, all seven pairs began preparing their versions of Bombay Halwa. Right before the time ran out, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi returned to the set. After time ended, both chefs tasted all entries and revealed the results.

  • Tejasswi Prakash and Arjun Bijlani

Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and Chef Harpal praised the dishes made by both pairs for their perfect sweetness, bouncy texture, and refreshing watermelon flavour. Both pairs received the signature compliment “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle” and were awarded a golden star each.

Cooking Battle 2: Bhaap Badi Salan

In the second cooking challenge, contestants were asked to prepare a savoury dish that combined the flavours of Hyderabad and Rajasthan called Bhaap Badi Salan.

Criteria for Bhaap Badi Salan:

  • 3 pieces of Badi
  • Soft and spongy texture
  • Authentic Hyderabadi Salan flavour
