But will the originals couple manages outsmart the youngsters, well to find out you need to watch the film in theatres.

Review:

More then a worthy sequel, Bunty Aur Babli 2 looks like a con job by the makers to cash on the nostalgia and popularity of the original 2005 blockbuster. First half of this film is quite disappointing as it takes way too much time to set up the eventual collision between the two con couples. Sharvari Wagh who is making her Bollywood debut with this film looked very confident and her onscreen chemistry with Siddhant looked quite good but director has not done her and Siddhant any justiice as their characters don’t have any backstory in this film so it becomes very difficult to connect to them.

Saif Ali Kha and Rani Mukerji are the only saving grace of this film. Rani Mukerji has some nice funny dialogues which actually make you laugh and Saif’s goofy acting is a treat to watch. The less said about the music and soundtrack is better as Bunty Aur Babli 2 doesn’t have any memorable songs.

Pankaj Tripathi village accent is the film is quite entertaining but we have seen such character many times in the Indian films in the past so there is not new or special in it.

Overall if you are a fan of either Rani or Saif then definitely you can give Bunty Aur Babli 2 a try but if you are expecting something as good as the 2005 blockbuster then we recommend you to watch that masterpiece again rather then wasting your time and money watching this joke of a sequel in theatres. We are giving Bunty Aur Babli 2 a rating of 2 stars out of 5.
