by Sami Zayn enters the ring on a wheel chair with his male nurses at the opening of todays episode of SmackDown Live. Zayn says that he wants to sue Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar for robbing him off his Universal title shot last week. Heyman entered the ring and he started giving his own introduction to the audience. Sami Zayn got angry and said that Reigns is not here to save you from me tonight. Lesnar’s music hits and he entered the ring. Lesnar told Zayn that he protected him last Friday because Zayn could not have beaten Reigns on his own. Brock invited Zayn to Canada to go for fishing with him and moose hunting. Zayn says he is a vegan and Lesnar grabs Zayn’s wheelchair and he begins to push him out of the ring.
Paul Heyman grabs the mic from Lesnar and he says what am I looking at, if it was 3 years ago then Zayn would’ve already been on a trip to Suplex City but now you are talking to him like besties about fishing and moose hunting. Heyman gave his typical introduction for Lesnar and then Lesnar beats both the male nurses after which he kicked Zayn in the gut. Lesnar hits Zayn with an F-5 and there was a smirk on Paul Heyman’s face.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton asks Brock Lesnar why he came to the ring to save Paul Heyman. Lesnar responds to her telling her to ask his Advocate, Paul Heyman.
Backstage, Sir Kofi was with Mansoor, Drew Gulak, Ricochet, and the Viking Raiders. King Woods appears and Sir Kofi unveils a new crown for the King. Woods says they will prove they are the greatest tag team ever. King Woods starts a “huzzah” chant.
Drew McIntyre enters into Adam Pearce’s office. McIntyre asks why he wasn’t in the no. 1 contender’s battle royal. Pearce says the list was approved by a higher power. That power also decreed that McIntyre can’t bring his sword Angela to the ring tonight. McIntyre laughs and thrusts Angela into Pearce’s office desk.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton confronts Paul Heyman and Heyman says please stop doing that. Kayla asks, are you Brock Lesnar’s advocate? Heyman says Please stop doing that too. Kayla further asks Heyman what will Roman Reigns think about all this. Heyman doesn’t answer and walks away.
Naomi enters the ring and she grabs a mic and tells Sonya Deville to take that suit off and pull up. Sonya Deville’s music hits and she enters the ring in her ring gear. Sonya grabbed the mic and she says that she has two surprises for tonight. First is that Natalya is the ring announcer for this match and second is that Shayna Baszler is the time keeper. Before the match starts, Naomi rolls out the ring and attacks Baszler. Natalya gets on the apron. Naomi kicks Natalya in the head. It was now between Sonya vs. Naomi one on one. Deville rolls out of the ring after which all three women surrounded the ring.
Xia Li’s music hits and she entered the ring. Naomi and Xia beats up Shayna, Natalya and Sonya. Naomi goes on the top rope as Sonya was lying in the ring. Shayna and Nattie makes the save and got her out in time. Both Naomi and Xia bow down to each other in typical Japanese style.

Backstage, Sasha Banks motivates Toni Storm for her no. one contender match against Charlotte Flair tonight. Banks says its Toni time.
Toni Storm became the new no. 1 contender for SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Brock Lesnar entered Adam Pearce’s office and he thanked Pearce for the one million dollar fine as it was used for charity. Lesnar also thanked Pearce for the time he got during the suspension as he made the most out of it by going to hunting. Lesnar tells Pearce that he hunted a moose and named that moose Pearce.
