Beast (2022) Film Third Day Collection in India – Both Hindi and South Indian Belts Friday biz Report

Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer Tamil action comedy film Beast has successfully made its mark at box office as the Nelson directorial venture has got the second best opening of ₹ 88 crores (Globally) as far as Kollywood films are concerned. Rajnikanth’s 2Point0 still holds the no. 1 position as the Kollywood sci-fi thriller got a massive opening of ₹ 94 crores at Global box office back in November 2018. Although despite getting such an earth shattering day 1 opening, Beast has emerged as a big disappointment as far as Hindi belts of India are concerned because its Hindi dubbed version which is titled as ‘RAW‘ has came off as a complete washout.

Beast has been made with a budget of ₹ 150 crores and already this film which has been produced by Kalanithi Maran has earned ₹ 130 crores from the opening two days. This trend clearly indicates that this film is currently going on the right track as far as its box office business is concerned. Well it seems like that the gamble taken by the makers to release Beast in the same week when KGF 2 got released actually paid off very well.

Thalapathy Vijay has failed to emerge as a PAN India star because the Hindi version of Beast completely failed to attract the audience to the cinema halls. Even in the reviews critics said that there are huge flaws in the story of Beast and now it seems that only Vijay and Pooja Hegde fans are going to watch it because of which this film is only dominating in the Southern parts of India but got absolutely washed out in Hindi speaking regions.

KGF Chapter 2 is creating a lot of trouble for Beast in the Hindi belts right now as people are not even giving a chance to its Hindi dubbed version RAW and rather they are opting to watch Yash starrer periodic action sequel twice or even thrice in theatres. Audience feedback is also not good for Beast and bad word of mouth from public will hurt its biz in the long run.

Tamil film Beast overall occupancy rate on day 3 has been estimated around 60% – 70% which is fantastic and if this film managed to continue its dominance in the Tamil speaking regions of India for the next couple of days then surely this film will emerge as a mega success at box office India.

3rd Day (Friday) Collection of Beast in India is  ₹ 20 crores (approximately)
