by Episode 1 of the ALTT web series Honey Trap Squad Season 1 starts with Riya receiving a call from headquarters and quickly getting dressed. The person on the phone tells her that they have a mission for her and that she must take it because she is close to the location. Riya is instructed to join a video call and connect with Janhavi, so she makes a video call to Janhavi using her laptop.
The person on the phone sends a picture of the Technician to both Riya and Janhavi, explaining that he is the one who secures all communication for the international mafia, and, coincidentally, he is staying at the same hotel as Riya. She is told to get ready and that she will be contacted again in 20 minutes.
Riya goes to the hotel bar and starts drinking. Ashish Agnihotri, aka Technician (Karanvir Bohra), buys her a drink. Ashish tells Riya that he knows offering a drink to a girl is considered impolite in India, but at the same time, it would be disrespectful not to offer a drink to a beautiful girl.
Ashish introduces himself to Riya, but she shows him the middle finger and tells him that she is taken. Riya tells Ashish to skip the introductions, as she doesn’t like wasting time. Riya and Ashish end up making out in the bedroom.
Bebo tells Riya on a video call that Ashish looks very hot. Janhavi informs Riya that she has checked the hotel’s CCTV footage and that Technician is checking out. Bebo says that it’s his style, he never stays in the same place for more than two nights, always under a fake name.
Riya tells them that she can’t go through with the mission anymore because she had fun with him last night. Honey tells her that he will send Ashish’s location and is sure that Riya will figure something out. Riya agrees to continue the mission.

Both Riya and Ashish check out from the hotel, and the driver in Ashish’s car sends the location of his next hotel to Janhavi. Riya follows Ashish to the Golden Tulip hotel. Ashish enters the hotel and is shocked to see Riya there. Riya finally introduces herself to Ashish as Nyra. Ashish decides to leave the hotel but then changes his mind and stays.
A man on the terrace gives Ashish a photograph of Vicky and tells him that Vicky is missing. Ashish calls Hamid and assures him not to worry, as his job will be done. Ashish gets into the swimming pool, where Riya is also present. Riya asks Ashish what work he does, and Ashish replies that he is unemployed. Riya invites Ashish for an interview at the club.
Ashish goes to the club for the interview with Riya, and in the meantime, the bartender (an undercover agent) enters his room to search. Janhavi tells her not to touch any electronic items because Technician may have rigged them.
Ashish tells Riya that he is ready for the interview. Riya starts dancing with Ashish while the bartender continues searching his room. Once the search is complete, Janhavi instructs the bartender to signal Riya. The bartender signals Riya by bringing her a drink.
Riya takes Ashish for a late-night drive and starts driving rashly while drunk. Traffic police officers arrest Ashish, and Riya calls Honey to inform him, “Your package is secured.”
