Shark Tank India Season 2 EP 8 Written Updates (11 January 2023) – Biggest Investments, All Pitches & Deals Made

Shark Tank India Season 2 Episode 8 on 11 January 2023 has already been aired and we watched a visually impaired person offering investors a deal for his employment based platform. Some heavy tussle took place between the Sharks for investment in a Chikankari Saree brand and in the end, a female entrepreneur made a pitch for her human DNA Jewellery making company.

Shark Tank 2 Episode 8 All Pitches and Money Invested – Full Info :

First Pitch – Vineet Saraiwala – Founder of The Atypical Advantage – He made a pitch for his inclusive platform which gives employment to disabled people and he offered 1% Equity for Rs 30 lakhs. He said that he is visually impaired and suffering from a condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa. He told investors that both him and his brother are blind but they they are very good in Studies. His brother name is Anuj Saraiwala.

Vineet gave a demo of his website to the investors. Peyush Bansal asked him that why you need a separate website? Vineet said that through this people can get the opportunities easily. Vineet told Sharks that his company works on two models which are monthly subscription and placement based.

Anupam Mittal gave a offer to him which is Rs 30 lakhs for 4.29% Equity and both Aman Gupta & Namita Thapar told him that they want to join Anupam in his deal. Peyush Bansal offered him Rs 1 crore for 12% Equity and he said that he wants to work with him alone. Peyush also said that he needs a place on the table in his company.

Vineet offered all four Sharks to come together and make a deal for 10% Equity for Rs 1.20 Crore. Peyush said that he can do this at 10% Equity for Rs 1 crore. Anupam and Peyush argued over this deal because Peyush wanted to go alone. Anupam said that he is out and he wished him all the best and he also said that it seems Peyush has an agenda behind it.

Peyush Bansal said that he is out to Vineet and tells him to take a deal from Namita Thapar & Aman Gupta.

Finally the deal was made with Aman Gupta and Namita Thapar for Rs 30 lakhs for 3% Equity.

Second Pitch – Aakriti Rawal and Poonam Rawal – Founders of House of Chikankari – They made a pitch for their Lucknow based designer saree making brand and they offered investors Rs 75 lakhs for 1% Equity. Namita Thapar said that she wants Aman Gupta to grab this deal because he is like his brother.

Aakriti and Poonam gave the Chikankari saree and kurtas samples to all the investors. They said that brands like FAB India doesn’t have a big range of Chikankari sarees like us. Aakriti tells them that there are 70 people working in their company.

Aakriti tells Namita Thapar that 33% of their sales are international and 33% on an average are repeat customers. She said that they have an inventory of next 2 months. Poonam said that this saree brand was a dream of her daughter Aakriti and Aakriti got emotional.

Aman Gupta gave them an offer of Rs 75 lakhs for 5% Equity. Namita Thapar said that Aman wants to go solo and that’s why she is out.

Vineeta Singh said that her and Anupam Mittal wants to offer them a deal which is Rs 75 lakhs for 6% Equity.

Peyush Bansal gave them an offer for Rs 75 lakhs for 5% Equity and Aman Gupta joined him in his offer.

Peyush and Aman reduced the offer to Rs 75 lakhs for 3.75% Equity and finally the deal was made on that offer.

Third Pitch – Preety Maggo – Founder of Magic of Memories – She made a pitch for her Jewellery brand which is made from Human DNA Samples. She asked for Rs 25 lakhs for 5% Equity. Investors felt very awful hearing her pitch and then she gave the samples of her jewellery to the Sharks.

Preety said that maximum customers of hers comes from Instagram and it has around 60K followers. She also showed them the videos of the making process of jewellery. Preety said that around 500 units of jewellery got sold in 3 Years.

Preety told the investors that she makes all her jewellery in Silver and Gold because of which it is too expensive.

Aman Gupta said that he can’t relate with this business and that’s why he is out. Namita Thapar said that she doesn’t think this business can scale and that’s why she is out.

Peyush Bansal also said that he is out and Vineeta Singh also told Preety that she is out.

Anupam Mittal said that he is not passionate about this business and that’s why he is out.

No deal was made at last.
