The next morning, Shanaya was lying unconscious in Ajay Singhania’s office, and the inspector told her to wake up. Rini was sleeping in her bedroom with Shagun. Rini woke up, turned on the TV, and was shocked to see the news that Shanaya had been arrested. Rini told Shagun to wake up, and Shagun was also shocked to see the news.
The police were taking Shanaya to the police station in a van. Shanaya took out the pendrive from her purse, looked at it, and then used her phone to call Rini. On the way back, in the middle of the road, Shagun told Rini to drop her there as she had a shift in one hour. Rini dropped her off. Shagun had stolen the pendrive from Rini, then watched the footage and said, “Miss Shanaya, this time I’ll hit the jackpot.” Shagun called Malhar Soni and asked for Rs 5 crore, saying she had the pendrive.
