Shaadi Week continued on MasterChef India Season 9 Episode 12, where the rituals of Haldi and Mehendi were incorporated into cooking. All 12 pairs of participants were given a chance to save themselves from this week’s elimination by impressing the judges with a dish made using ingredients from either the Yellow Pantry or the Green Pantry.
The famous and talented Bollywood duo Dr. Sanket Bhosale and Sugandha Mishra appeared as special guests in this episode. The husband-wife duo entertained everyone with their hilarious mimicry of Bollywood icons, making all the contestants laugh throughout the episode.

Episode 12 began with all three judges — Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Ranveer Brar, and Chef Kunal Kapur — entering the MasterChef kitchen. They announced that on Day 2 of Shaadi Week, the Haldi and Mehendi rituals would be celebrated through a special cooking challenge. Soon after, Dr. Sanket Bhosale and Sugandha Mishra joined as guests and amused everyone with their impressions of Usha Uthup, Javed Akhtar, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, and others. The judges then announced the Haldi and Mehendi Cooking Challenge.
