by WWE SmackDown episode on 1 December 2023 took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New YorK and the recently returned Apex Predator Randy Orton made an appearance on the show. Things got even more tensed between Damage CTRL as Kairi Sane faces Bianca Belair in the presence of Bayley at ringside.
The Maverick ‘Logan Paul’ also made a appearance on the blue brand tonight and he got confronted by Kevin Owens. A surprise announcement related to CM Punk was also made on tonight’s SmackDown and we will reveal about all this in this article further.

WWE SmackDown 1 December 2023 All Segments Highlights
- Bianca Belair opens the show and she gave a shout-out to all her WarGames partners and then she said that her war with Damage CTRL is still not over as she is coming for IYO SKY’s title. IYO, Dakota, Asuka, and Kairi came to the ring to corner Bianca, but Charlotte and Shotzi came to make the save. A brawl broke out between the ladies and team Bianca ended up standing tall.
- Backstage – Bayley met Asuka, IYO, Kairi, and Dakota, after which Dakota tells her that Kairi has a match with Bianca tonight and she needs your help because you know Bianca very well. Kairi spoke something in Japanese and Bayley didn’t understand what Kairi said.
- In Nick Aldis Locker room – Paul Heyman asks Nick Aldis about inviting Randy Orton on SmackDown tonight and Nick tells him that he intends to sign Orton exclusively to SmackDown tonight. Heyman asks, does Roman Reigns knows about it? Nick responds by saying that it’s your job. Nick tells Heyman that if he has to offer up the bloodline in order to sign Orton, then he will do that as well. Heyman tells Nick that he would do anything it takes to stop it.
- Backstage – Pretty Deadly makes fun of Butch by saying that his career is going towards a dead end. The trio got into a brawl after that.
- Backstage – Cathy Kelley interviews Santos Escobar before his match against Joaquin Wilde. Escobar says that if Joaquin can’t see the truth, then he is going to put him on the shelf tonight.
- Backstage – Adam Pearce tells Nick Aldis that he will join him in the Randy Orton’s contract signing tonight, with his own exclusive contract offering for Monday Night RAW.
- Logan Paul came in the ring and he gloats about his US Title win. Paul says that starting from next week, a 8-man-tournament will take place to determine the new no. 1 contender for US title and the participants are as follows : Santos Escober, Dragon Lee, Karrion Kross, an NXT Superstar, Bobby Lashley, Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens came in the ring and he tells the crowd that he will end the nightmare of Logan being US Champion. Paul responds by saying that he needs only 6 seconds to KO him. Grayson Waller & Austin Theory entered the ring and KO knocks Theory down with a stiff punch on his face.
- CM Punk announced for SmackDown next week.
- Randy Orton joins Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis in the ring. Pearce offers Orton a World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins and Jey Uso, while Aldis offer him revenge against Bloodline. Paul Heyman came on the ramp and he brings out Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso to take out Orton. La Knight came to Orton’s rescue and Orton hits Jimmy with a RKO. Orton ends up signing the contract for SmackDown roster. Randy Orton tells Paul Heyman, You can call Roman Reigns and you can tell him, Daddy’s back. Orton hits Nick Aldis with a RKO.
