Both exchange intense words, with Rollins questioning Cody’s true opinion of him, while Cody acknowledges Rollins’ impact on his career but challenges his recent choices and leadership of The Vision. Rollins asserts his dominance, claiming to represent the future of wrestling. Tensions rise as Cody questions whether their Crown Jewel match will be one-on-one, referencing his past victories over Rollins, who has yet to defeat him in their three previous matches.
- Backstage, Jimmy Uso confronts Jey Uso and says that what happened at Wrestlepalooza was disappointing but that he knows they can win. Bálor suggests Dominik seek help from El Grande Americano, but Dominik explains that Americano is back in Mexico. Dominik then asks JD McDonagh for assistance, but McDonagh flatly refuses. After Roxanne Perez insists, McDonagh reluctantly agrees to help Dominik, clarifying that he’s doing it for The Judgment Day. Dominik informs McDonagh about his match against Rusev tonight. Meanwhile, Roxanne and Raquel Rodriguez leave for Roxanne’s match against Bayley, leaving McDonagh to update Bálor on the situation.
- Backstage, Bayley confronts Lyra Valkyria and acts as if her outburst never happened, saying Lyra did well last week and asking her to be in her corner tonight. It becomes clear to Lyra that Bayley has forgotten about the history between them, but Lyra agrees. Bayley leaves, and then Stephanie Vaquer walks by on her way to the ring. - Backstage, IYO SKY tells Asuka that she does not need to fight Rhea Ripley, but Asuka tells IYO that she wants to teach Rhea respect. IYO tells Kairi to talk to Asuka after Asuka leaves, but Kairi says Asuka is why they are here and that they must listen to her. Asuka again calls out Kairi, saying, “Kairi!” and then Kairi leaves.
- After the match between Jey Uso and LA Knight ended, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker entered the ring, surrounding LA Knight. When Jey refused to help LA Knight and left, Jimmy appeared on the entrance ramp and asked Jey to assist Knight, but Jey refused and walked away. Jimmy then grabbed a steel chair and ran to the ring. Paul Heyman had to beg Breakker to stop before he, Breakker, and Bronson left.
- Backstage, IYO SKY meets with Rhea Ripley. IYO tells Rhea that she wants her to call off the match against Asuka, but Rhea says it must happen and hopes that they can beat respect into each other, as Rhea and IYO did. Rhea also asks IYO to be careful around Asuka. IYO says Asuka is family and that she is here because of her, then expresses doubt about whether she can trust Rhea before leaving. Rhea says that this is not what she meant.
- After the match between Rhea Ripley and Asuka, Asuka blinds Rhea by spitting mist in her eyes. Asuka then orders Kairi Sane to attack Rhea, and Kairi reluctantly complies, pounding Rhea on the mat. IYO SKY rushes to save Rhea and pleads with Asuka to stop the assault. Asuka hugs IYO but then shockingly hits her with a Spinning Strike. Asuka orders Kairi to attack IYO, and Kairi reluctantly starts attacking her. Asuka holds IYO down while Kairi delivers an Insane Elbow from the top rope. The show goes off the air with both IYO and Rhea lying flat on the mat.
