All Highlights and Major Moments from the Show
- At the start of the show, multiple TNA superstars, including Eric Young, Moose, and Matt Cardona, were shown lurking in NXT’s parking lot as NXT top stars Oba Femi and Trick Williams arrived.
- Backstage, Stevie Turner and Robert Stone receive a phone call from General Manager Ava Raine. Ava informs them that she won’t be able to make it to NXT tonight, so Stevie and Robert need to take care of everything. Stevie and Robert try to inform Ava about multiple TNA superstars lurking around the arena, but due to call disturbance issues, Ava fails to hear them and tells them to handle everything on their own.
- “All Ego” Ethan Page entered the ring and spotted El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. in the front row. Grabbing the mic, Ethan accused him of costing him a double championship and challenged him to watch his match against Tavion Heights at No Mercy. When El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. stood up, Ethan demanded a referee, and a match began. Ethan was quickly overpowered and submitted to an ankle lock. Shockingly, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. unmasked, revealing himself to be Tavion Heights, who won the impromptu match.
- Backstage, Jordynne Grace was watching Blake Monroe’s vignette from last week’s episode of NXT. When Arianna Grace mentions Blake Monroe and warns Jordynne to be careful of her, Jordynne confronts Arianna and clarifies that she and Arianna are not related, emphasizing that she wants Blake to know this. Jordynne challenges Arianna to a one-on-one match later tonight.
- In a pre-taped video package, Jaida Parker discussed her recent match in which Lash Legend put her through the ringside barricade. Jaida further states that she can see through Lash and will give her a reality check when they face each other next time.
- Backstage, Lyra Valkyria meets with Tatum Paxley, and they connect over their shared feelings about the situation with Bayley. In the background, Steve Maclin, Victoria Crawford (formerly Alicia Fox), Hank Walker, and Tank Ledger were visible. Izzi Dame approaches and tells Tatum that Lyra abandoned her before and would do so again if given the chance, then leaves with Tatum. Lyra appears confused.
- Backstage, Andre Chase introduces Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors to Cole Custer and Sam Mayer to teach them how to slow down. They mention Joe Hendry without saying his name. Then, DarkState shows up and threatens Custer and Mayer. Zachary Wentz and Cedric Alexander were seen in the background. When Hendry is mentioned again, he appears dressed as a race car driver. DarkState challenges Hendry and Chase University to a six-man tag match.
- After the match between Jordynne Grace and Arianna Grace ended, Blake Monroe’s music hits, and she appears carrying a pink shinai and a trash can, dressed somewhat like Timeless Toni Storm from AEW. Jordynne Grace fights back with a steel chair until Blake Monroe hits her in the gut. Jordynne responds with a takedown. Then, officials and security arrive to break things up as the crowd chants, “Let them fight!” Stevie Turner and Robert Stone appear, and Turner announces that Jordynne and Blake will have a weapons match at No Mercy. Stone adds that he will make the announcement even better: they can bring any weapons they want, and there will be no outside interference because the match will be in a weaponized steel cage.
- Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Lainey Reid, who says she has seized her opportunity and taken full advantage of it. Lainey further states that she hopes to give Sol Ruca some “Southern Hospitality” at No Mercy and become the next Women’s Speed Champion. Fatal Influence appears, and Jacy Jayne wishes Lainey luck before telling Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx that she can handle Lola Vice on her own. Jacy then heads to the ring alone, leaving Fallon and Jazmyn behind.
- Jacy Jayne, the NXT Women’s Champion for over 100 days, enters the ring alone and dismisses last week’s match, asserting her dominance and rejecting labels placed on her. She mocks Lola Vice, calling her a “crossover act” unfit to challenge for the title despite her improvements and hometown advantage, claiming she’s the true underdog who earned her spot. Lola interrupts, countering that she’s grown since her last title shot, earned her opportunity through knockouts, and will win the championship at No Mercy for herself, her family, culture, and fans. Jacy retorts that Lola seeks family validation and will leave as a disappointment, still failing to dethrone her. The confrontation escalates, ending with Lola knocking Jacy out with a spinning back fist.
- In a pre-taped video package, we hear from Josh Briggs, who says that the fans never cared about him and never will. He calls the fans hypocrites who boo him when he appears but cheer his matches after they end. He states that Je’Von Evans lives and dies by the fans’ approval, which makes Evans weak, and vows to prove to Je’Von that everything is just noise, as he does not care about connecting with the fans.
- Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Je’Von Evans. Je’Von says Josh Briggs won last time, but this time, he’ll win, even though Briggs talks about him like they’re familiar. A loud bang is heard, and as Je’Von declares his victory, Jazmyn Nyx is found attacked, lying on the floor. Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley arrive. Fallon says she was with Jazmyn a minute ago, but Jacy remarks it is time to abandon her, as only the strong survive. Fallon agrees with Jacy, and they leave.
- During the main event winner-takes-all match, Trick Williams sends Oba Femi into the steel steps outside the ring, then slaps Mike Santana, who was sitting at the commentary table. Santana strikes back. After the match ends, all the TNA wrestlers jump the barricade and start fighting with the NXT superstars, leading to an interpromotional brawl. Ricky Starks approaches ringside and eyes the NXT Championship on the podium, but Oba Femi stares him down as the fighting continues inside and outside the ring. The show then goes off the air.
