by Michael Cole was in the ring as he welcomed the baddest woman on the planet Ronda Rousey. Rousey talks about her journey back to WWE and credits her mother for being her inspiration for being a badass. Cole asks Rousey about how she felt after winning the Royal Rumble. Rousey says she isn’t focused on past accomplishments, she’s just focused on tapping out Charlotte Flair. Cole mentions that Flair got the better of her at Elimination Chamber before Rousey eventually tapped out Sonya Deville. Before Rousey can respond, Charlotte Flair interrupts.
Charlotte Flair says she gave Rousey a taste of a welcome back and it was so much fun. She actually held back at the Elimination Chamber, but Flair promises to tap Rousey out for the first time at Mania 38. The silver lining for her is that after Flair taps her out, Rousey can go home and work on baby number two. Sonya Deville attacked Ronda Rousey from behind. Flair slams Rousey’s knee into the ring post. Deville bad mouths Rousey. Rousey flips Deville with a Judo throw. Flair and Deville escapes.
Backstage, Adam Pearce blames Sonya Deville for getting involved in Rousey and Charlotte confrontation. Pearce informs Deville that due to her actions next week she will be facing Ronda Rousey in a singles match.
Sami Zayn was wearing tux and there were balloons all around the ring. Zayn rants about finally getting what he deserves. He doubles down on their being a conspiracy against him, even though he won back his title. Zayn says he is happy to give Shinsuke Nakamura a rematch but he’s probably still picking up pieces of his shattered knee cap. Zayn says he will defend the title against anyone brave enough to face him.
The Jackass theme plays as Johnny Knoxville jogs to the ring. Knoxville says since Zayn crashed his premiere, he figured he’d crash his celebration. Knoxville challenges Zayn to a match. Zayn goes on a rant about Knoxville not belonging here. Knoxville asks Zayn if he has any balls. Zayn starts to leave the ring, but he turns around and attacks Knoxville. Zayn lands a glancing blow with a Helluva Kick. Referees hits the ring and pulls Zayne back. Zayn hits another Helluva Kick.
After the match between Sasha Banks and Shotzi, Naomi entered the ring and looking at Sasha she told the WWE Universe that you are looking at the next women’s tag team champions.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar did the contract signing for their Mania 38 match and the segment ended up with Brock beating up all the security guards in the ring.
