The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 Episode 1 aired on Saturday, June 21, 2025, on the Netflix OTT platform, with Salman Khan as the special guest for the highly entertaining premiere of the show’s third season. Former Indian cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu joined this season as a judge alongside laughter queen Archana Puran Singh.
Fans of Kapil Sharma eagerly awaited the start of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 on Netflix, as it was slightly delayed due to Kapil Sharma’s busy schedule. He recently completed two back-to-back films, DKS and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, both of which will hit the big screens soon.
Netflix Special: The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 Episode 1 – Full Written Update
The episode began with host Kapil Sharma arriving on stage, followed by Archana Puran Singh and new judge Navjot Singh Sidhu taking their seats, kicking off the laughter-filled party.
Salman Khan, the first special guest of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, arrived on stage. To welcome him, Krushna Abhishek appeared dressed in a bridal outfit as a woman named Mona. Krushna, as Mona, playfully teased Salman about marriage, while Salman struggled to contain his laughter as he refused the proposal.
Navjot Singh Sidhu praised Salman for making his father proud by maintaining his stardom for over 40 years. Kapil also teased Salman about his single status, while referencing Aamir Khan’s multiple marriages. Salman jokingly responded that Aamir, being a perfectionist, aims to perfect everything.
Sunil Grover then appeared on stage dressed as an elderly woman named Buddhi, claiming to be Salman’s biggest fan, accompanied by other women. Sunil, as Buddhi, cracked jokes about a fictional affair with a character named Pana Singh, aka Pradhan. After delivering some hilarious jokes, Sunil Grover left the stage.
Salman Khan revealed to Kapil Sharma that his hairstyle in Tere Naam was inspired by Rahul Roy and former Indian President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
Zoheb Syed, Issac Sutari, and Siddhant Khanna, three Salman Khan lookalikes who closely mimic him, took the stage. They delivered some of Salman’s famous dialogues in his signature style, and both Kapil and Salman enjoyed joking with them. Lookalikes of Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan also appeared, and Salman appreciated their styles and personalities. Eventually, all the lookalikes left the stage.
In the Super Fan segment, a unique painter named Saurav Vijay Patel took the stage and created a painting of Salman Khan using his tongue as a paintbrush. Salman admired his talent and signed the painting. Navjot Singh Sidhu gave Saurav a standing ovation.
Kiku Sharda then appeared on stage dressed as Filmy Maa, followed by Krushna Abhishek as Karan and Sunil Grover as Arjun. The trio had Salman, Kapil, and the audience roaring with laughter through their hilarious antics.
The show concluded with Salman Khan giving a live singing performance for the audience, performing his popular songs like O Oh Jaane Jaana, Character Dheela Hai, and Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din.
