Despite having no big male lead, this blockbuster has dominated the Indian box office with staggering collection numbers. Within just 12 days, Stree 2 has grossed an impressive ₹421.85 crores domestically, and with the momentum it’s carrying, the ₹500 crore milestone is within sight.
On its second Tuesday, 27th August 2024, Stree 2 showed no signs of slowing down, reigning supreme at the box office once again. Competing films like Khel Khel Mein, Vedaa, and Alien: Romulus struggled to make a mark as Stree 2 continued to attract cinema-goers in huge numbers across India.

One of the standout elements of Stree 2‘s success is the impact it has had on its cast, particularly Shraddha Kapoor. On Day 13 (27th August 2024), the film maintained an overall occupancy rate of around 47% to 53%. These numbers are particularly noteworthy given that the peak summer season in India usually sees a dip in cinema attendance. Though the morning and noon showings saw relatively lower occupancy rates, the film picked up steam during the evening and night shows, many of which went completely housefull.
Day 13 Box Office Collection
On its second Tuesday, Stree 2 added ₹12.25 crores to its already massive box office haul. This brings the film’s total collection to an outstanding ₹434.10 crores in just 13 days! The impressive business on Day 13 indicates that Stree 2 is far from done at the box office and it’s safe to say that its OTT release may still be a long way off.
With no major competition on the horizon and continued strong audience turnout, Stree 2 is expected to continue its box office dominance for days to come.
