1. At the beginning of tonight’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes took center stage, initiating the evening’s proceedings. He addressed the audience, expressing his anticipation for The Rock’s return once he fulfills his Hollywood obligations. Cody then shifted gears, discussing the upcoming PLE “Backlash” event. During his address, he introduced the six challengers vying for the chance to face him for the title. Asserting his position, Cody declared himself no longer the hunter but the hunted. He warned potential adversaries that if they aimed for the King, they mustn’t miss their mark.

2. Backstage: Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa were taken aback to find Cody Rhodes now occupying Roman Reigns’ former dressing room. Their surprise was interrupted by the arrival of Kevin Owens, who bluntly informed them of their lack of invitation and suggested they find solace in a nearby broom closet. Solo expressed his intention to handle the situation, but Heyman cautioned him about the importance of victory and the consequences of defeat. He made it clear that if they wished to reclaim the dressing room, the championship must return to The Bloodline under Roman Reigns’ decree.

3. In a standout moment of the evening, Solo Sikoa orchestrated a dramatic betrayal, seizing control of The Bloodline. Adding to the upheaval, Tama Tonga made a memorable WWE debut, unleashing a relentless assault on Jimmy Uso both in and out of the ring. Amidst the chaos, Solo forcefully intervened, destroying Paul Heyman’s phone to prevent communication with Roman Reigns. With their message delivered, Heyman, Solo, and Tama exited the ring, leaving Jimmy battered and abandoned in their wake.

However, she emphasized that it was time to extend an opportunity for someone to challenge her for the title. Making her presence known, Tiffany Stratton confidently strode down the ramp, declaring her acceptance of the supposed open challenge, deeming it “Tiffy Time.” Bayley swiftly clarified that it wasn’t an open challenge and instead intended to offer the opportunity to Naomi.
