by While Preeta was sleeping besides Karan, he wakes up first and recalls about how Preeta treated him last night by putting wet towels on his forehead after which he said thanks to her and she said mention not in response. Karan regrets thanking her as he thinks that he fall sick after which he got weak and he let Preeta took care of him. So now she will taunt him and make fun of him when she gets up. Karan decides to leave the bedroom before Preeta wakes up but his phone starts ringing and it was near Preeta. He went to pick up the phone but Preeta wakes up and they both had a romantic eye contact. Karan gets nervous and says to Preeta that his phone is ringing. He gets up and leaves the room.
Preeta gets up and picks up her phone as Sarla was calling her. She asks Preeta about how her first day is going in the Luthra house. She advices Preeta to cook a sweet dish for Luthra’s because she is gonna cook first time in their kitchen as daughter their daughter in law. Preeta thinks no one will the food made by her for surre. Sarla says if she performed this ritual then Luthra’s will at least take a byte of her sweet dish not to disrespect the ritual so she should do it definitely. Preeta agrees to cook sweet dish for Luthra’s. Sherlyn from outside the room hears the conversation and leaves from there. Sarla says to Preeta that she believes that Preeta will win Luthra’s heart for sure and says she knows Preeta is a good daughter and sister but now she has to prove herself as good wife and daughter-in-law too. She advises her to not change herself but mingle with Luthra’s because from now on it’s her family. Preeta says that she can’t become sweet like Sarla and thanks her for all the advices and blessings and also for being her mother. Sarla tells her to not say thanks and she is glad that she has 4 daughters and she misses her a lot. Preeta gets emotional and says she too misses her. Sarla asks her to not cry and tells her to prepare the sweet dish with smiling face.
Mahira in her room talking to herself says that she doesn’t know what happened between Karan and Preeta last night but she knows what is going to happen between her and Karan today. Sherlyn comes there and tells Mahira that Preeta is going to cook sweet dish for everyone as Sarla told her to do so. Mahira says Preeta can’t win everyone’s heart with that. Sherlyn says Preeta trying to act like a good daughter in law in front of everyone. Mahira and Sherlyn decides to spoil Preeta’s dish before she impresses anyone.
Mahira and Sherlyn went to the kitchen as Preeta was cooking the sweet dish for Luthra’s. Mahira was about to add salt in Preeta’s sweet dish but at right time Preeta stops her and warns her. She says Preeta can’t win Luthra’s hearts with this sweet dish. Preeta says it’s her first rasoi and she wants to concentrate so don’t disturb her. She says she is just fulfilling her responsibility as a daughter in law of this house not trying to do anything else. Sherlyn tries to throw tea on Preeta with the intention of burning her dish but fails and in anger both Sherlyn and Mahira left the kitchen. Mahira in the hallway tells Sherlyn that no one should think good about Preeta in Luthra house. Later when no one was in the kitchen Sherlyn adds chilly powder in Preeta’s dish. Mahira says she too wants to cook for Luthra’s and do that ritual as everyone will get to know who is best. Srishti makes a video call to Preeta but Sarla takes the mobile from her and asks Luthra’s thinking about her reception or not. Preeta says reception is not possible because her marriage is not normal like others. Sarla consoles her.
