The semi-finale task of MTV Splitsvilla X6 took place in episode 54, which aired on May 10, 2026. By the end of this task, Sorab & Niharika and Yogesh & Ruru became the third and fourth couples to enter the grand finale of the show.
During the episode, Sadhaaf Shankar faced a major accident in the semi-finale task. She does not know how to swim, but thankfully the unfortunate incident was avoided.
Episode Recap:
At the start of the episode, the contestants received a notification to reach the semi-finale task location. Upon reaching there, they were welcomed by hosts Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra.
Pay to Play: The Semi-Finale Task
Karan and Sunny announced that each couple who wanted to participate in the semi-finale task had to pay a price of 50,000 split coins. Couples who failed to do so would be eliminated.
The following four couples paid the 50,000 split coins:
- Niharika and Sorab
- Suzzane and Vishu
- Yogesh and Ruru
- Sadhaaf and Deeptanshu
Himanshu and Diksha failed to collect 50,000 split coins. Even after requesting and begging other contestants to lend them some, they could not gather the required amount.
- Himanshu and Diksha get eliminated from MTV Splitsvilla X6.
Semi-Finale Task Rules:
- Two couples performed against each other per round.
- There were two castles made of coloured and grey blocks.
- The girl partners had to swim in the pool and pass balls to their male partners after collecting them.
- The boys then used a catapult to shoot those balls at their opponents’ castle.
- Every coloured block hit was worth 20 points and every grey block hit was worth 10 points.
- The two couples that defeated their rivals by earning more points advanced to the grand finale and joined Gullu & Kaira and Tayne & Soundharya.
Who Challenged Whom:
- Vishu and Suzzane challenged Sorab and Niharika
- Yogesh and Ruru challenged Deeptanshu and Sadhaaf
Grand Finale Task Results:
- Yogesh and Ruru scored 370 points and defeated Deeptanshu and Sadhaaf, who scored 220 points.
- Niharika and Sorab scored 280 points and defeated Vishu and Suzzane, who scored 230 points.
Final Four Confirmed:
The top four finalist couples of MTV Splitsvilla X6 are:
- Gullu and Kaira
- Tayne and Soundharya
- Sorab and Niharika
- Yogesh and Ruru
