Recoupling Continues: Girls Make Their Choices
At the start of Episode 12, the recoupling resumed. After Ciaran and Lucinda made their choices in the previous episode, the remaining girls made their picks as follows:
- Leanne chose to couple up with Scott
- Belle chose to couple up with Sean
- Whitney chose to couple up with Konnor
- Helena chose to couple up with Tommy
- Jess chose to couple up with Jack
- Samie chose to couple up with Shaq
After the recoupling ended, Lucinda was seen crying as not a single girl clapped when she picked Ciaran. Meanwhile, Samie looked quite upset about Lucinda stealing Ciaran during the recoupling, and the other girls were seen consoling Samie.
Scott spoke to Ciaran afterward and advised him to be careful about the situation involving Lucinda and Samie, warning that people with two options often end up with none, referencing what happened with Shaq earlier.
Elsewhere, Millie had a cute, flirty chat with Curtis. She asked if he expected her to pick him during the recoupling, and Curtis made a move to kiss her. They ended up sharing their first kiss in the villa, which surprised Millie but she admitted she enjoyed it.
Later, Lucinda and Ciaran were seen having a one-on-one chat where she told him she’s in the villa for herself, which is why she picked him without worrying about Samie. Ciaran firmly told her that he still intends to explore his connection with Samie. Lucinda then asked him to make her coffee in the morning, to which Ciaran replied he’d make two, one for her and one for Samie.
That night, all the islanders got ready to sleep, and all the girls were seen sharing beds with their new partners.
The Next Morning
The following morning, Lucinda had a chat with Shaq and Scott in the kitchen. She told them that before the recoupling, she intentionally told the girls she fancied Tommy, Jack, and Sean, just to throw them off so they wouldn’t expect her to pick Ciaran later.
Soon after, Lucinda and Ciaran went to the terrace for a private flirty chat, while the other girls sat with Samie downstairs, wondering if the two were kissing at the terrace. Samie later found out, through the girls, what Lucinda had said to Scott earlier about fooling them, and Samie expressed that she didn’t like it.
Evening Confrontation
In the evening, while the girls were doing their makeup in the dressing room, Samie asked Lucinda whether she kissed Ciaran at the terrace. Lucinda refused to answer, telling Samie she could take it as either a yes or a no.
Later, Samie pulled Lucinda aside for a private conversation, confronting her about the remarks she allegedly made to Scott and Shaq about misleading the girls. Lucinda denied making those comments, prompting Samie to call Scott to confirm. Scott said Lucinda did make those remarks, which led to an argument. When Lucinda continued to deny it, Scott walked off.
Lucinda then claimed that even if she made those comments, she didn’t remember saying them. A heated argument erupted between Lucinda and Samie over Ciaran. Lucinda also mentioned that Samie hadn’t spoken to her in the past year despite being her best friend. This confrontation marked the end of the episode.
