The craze around Bigg Boss 20 contestant Qazi Touqeer is growing by the day. The popular Kashmiri contestant, already given the title “Lord” by many fans, has now added another feather to his cap. He created history after Salman Khan mentioned his name in a late-night Instagram Story posted on the host’s official handle around midnight on September 20, 2026.
Salman Khan shared the story to clarify a misleading Weekend Ka Vaar promo cut by the Bigg Boss 20 makers. The promo left many viewers worried that Salman was facing a heart-related issue. Some of his fans began praying for his health and posting “Get Well Soon Bhaijaan” in his Instagram comments.
In the story, Salman clarified that it was only a dramatic act meant to make Qazi Touqeer realize that the mental-health-related scenes he has been doing inside the Bigg Boss 20 house for entertainment are not appropriate. Viewers outside may know it is an act, but the contestants inside do not, and mental health is a serious issue that should not be mocked.
Later that night, around 1:45 AM, the Bigg Boss makers corrected the promo. A new clip was uploaded on the JioHotstar Reality social media handles in a comic tone, making it clear that Salman’s health is fine. In the promo, Salman told the contestants that Qazi was only acting for entertainment and even praised Qazi’s acting skills.
With that Instagram Story, Salman Khan has placed Qazi Touqeer in a rare Bigg Boss moment. Fans say it will be remembered because an active contestant has never before prompted the host to post an Instagram Story about him.
Qazi’s popularity is likely to rise further. At the same time, some fans may miss his late-night Batman and Wolverine antics from now on.
