by The fifth episode of Laughter Chefs Season 3 featured a Middle Eastern-themed special where celebrity cooks prepared complex dishes like Habibi Kunafa Bil Fustaq Wal Tamr and Mansaf in two intense cooking battles. The winners of these battles were awarded Golden Stars along with team points. Actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary also made a special cameo appearance at the end of the episode to promote Naagin Season 7.
At the start of Episode 5, host Bharti Singh and judge Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi arrived on stage, followed by all seven celebrity pairs dressed in traditional Dubai-inspired outfits. Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel came as date sellers, while Isha Malviya appeared as a belly dancer. Eisha Singh dressed as an air hostess from Sannata Airways.
Vivian Dsena arrived as a Dubai Sheikh named Sannata Bhai, while Aly Goni came as a perfume seller. Tejasswi Prakash donned a belly dancer outfit, accompanied by her partner and boyfriend, Karan Kundrra. Krushna Abhishek entered as Sheikh Ghafoor, riding a fake camel.

Cooking Battle 1
In the first cooking battle, celebrity contestants from both teams were tasked with preparing a unique and famous Middle Eastern dessert named Habibi Kunafa Bil Fustaq Wal Tamr.
Criteria for Habibi Kunafa Bil Fustaq Wal Tamr:
- Two cylindrical Kunafas
- Crispy texture and golden colour
- Each piece should be at least 5 inches in size
- Sweet and nutty flavour
After the announcement of Cooking Battle 1 and its criteria, all seven celebrity pairs began preparing the dessert. Once the allotted cooking time ended, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi visited each station to taste and evaluate the dishes. After tasting all entries and providing expert remarks, he announced the results.

Impressed by the Habibi Kunafa Bil Fustaq Wal Tamr dishes prepared by the two winning pairs from Team Chhuri, Chef Harpal awarded their team 2 team stars and complimented them by saying “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle.”
Cooking Battle 2
In the second cooking battle, all celebrity pairs were given the challenge to prepare another Middle Eastern delicacy, Mansaf.
Criteria for Mansaf:
- Traditional Jameed gravy
- Rich, creamy texture
- Authentic Middle Eastern flavour
- Minimum of three vegetables
- Presentation and decoration (replicating the sample image shown)
Host Bharti Singh announced the names of the contestants from each team who participated in the pantry run to collect ingredients.

From Team Chhuri:
- Eisha Singh
- Elvish Yadav
- Gurmeet Choudhary
- Tejasswi Prakash
Once the pantry run ended, all celebrity cooks began preparing their Mansaf dishes at their stations.
During the battle, TV actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary made a special appearance to promote Naagin Season 7. She had fun interacting with all the contestants and shared a cute moment with former Naagin star Tejasswi Prakash. After promoting the show, Priyanka left the set.
Once cooking time was over, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi tasted all the dishes and announced the winners after sharing his feedback.

Chef Harpal praised the rich and creamy texture of the gravy prepared by Vivian Dsena and Eisha Singh and declared them the winners of Cooking Battle 2. Consequently, Team Chhuri earned one team star.
