World Laughter Day was celebrated in episode 48 of Laughter Chefs Season 3, which aired on May 3, 2026. Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh entertained all the celebrity contestants with their hilarious mimicry of Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande.
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi assigned Laughter Day themed cooking challenges to the participants. They were asked to prepare dishes like smiley-shaped Kaaju Katli and Hasta Hua Lauki Kofta.
Cooking Battle 1 – Smiley Kaaju Katli
In the first cooking battle, the celebrity contestants had to prepare Kaaju Katli in the shape of a smiley. The dish was named “Smiley”.
Criteria for Smiley:
- 2 pieces of smiley
- Kaaju flavour
- Smooth texture
- Perfect sweetness
- Minimum 3-inch diameter
- Design perfection (replicating the given image)

Cooking Battle 2 – Hasta Kofta
In the second cooking battle, Chef Harpal asked the participants to prepare Lauki Kofta in a unique laughing design. The dish was named “Hasta Kofta”.
Criteria for Hasta Kofta:
- Lauki Kofta
- Minimum 5 inches height
- Perfect shape
- Crispy and soft
- Masaledaar gravy
