Storyline of Khwahish Mastram Web Series
The story revolves around Smita, a 35-year-old woman, and her husband Sanjay, 37, who have been married for years without having a child. Smita’s desperation for motherhood grows with each passing day, making her increasingly unhappy in her marriage.
Smita runs an acting academy, and a young man named Aryan Puri comes to her house for private acting lessons. Currently, Aryan is her only student.
Sanjay goes to the office daily, and unbeknownst to him, Smita conducts these acting classes at home. Aryan is very handsome, and during lessons on romantic scenes, Smita’s closeness to him increases. At first, Aryan resists, citing the age and teacher-student dynamic, but Smita insists, “Forget that I am your teacher; consider me your girlfriend while acting.”
Sanjay grows suspicious of Smita’s actions, but she manages to keep her secret. One day, Sanjay leaves for Nashik for work, informing Smita he’ll return late. That day, during an acting class, Smita and Aryan end up in bed, where she tells him to call her “Simi” instead of “teacher,” and Aryan agrees.
When Sanjay returns home that night, he shares exciting news: he might now be able to father a child, as a doctor has informed him of a new treatment. Smita’s reaction is bittersweet, saying they should have received this news earlier. Sanjay then notices Aryan’s vest in their room, and Smita lies, claiming it belongs to a cousin who visited last month.
Feeling guilty about her actions, especially seeing Sanjay’s caring nature, Smita decides to revert their relationship to strictly teacher-student. However, when she’s alone with Aryan in the kitchen making tea, he grabs her from behind, and despite initial resistance, she surrenders to the moment.
The doorbell rings, startling them. Smita quickly composes herself, and Aryan sits on the couch as she answers the door, lying to Sanjay that she was just making tea.
That night, Smita sends Aryan a WhatsApp message, ending their affair. However, Aryan begins harassing her, showing up at her house, banging on the door. Days later, at a beach, Aryan again confronts Smita, pleading to resume their intimate relationship. When Smita threatens to file a police complaint, Aryan, in a fit of rage, hits her with a brick, and she dies on the spot.
As the desire for a child consumed her, Smita found herself at a moral crossroads. Her actions led to consequences that changed her life, her marriage, and ultimately, ended with her death. The story leaves us pondering: Could Smita have found another way to fulfill her dream of motherhood? What would the impact of her choices have been if she had lived?
