The latest episode of Laughter Chefs Season 2 Episode 5, which aired on 8 February 2025 on Colors TV and Jio Cinema, brought another round of exciting cooking challenges, celebrity fun, and unexpected results.
With Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi judging the dishes and Bharti Singh keeping the atmosphere light with her humor, six celebrity pairs competed in two intense cooking battles. From Heart-Shaped Rasgullas to Stuffed Bread Pakoras, this episode had everything—highs, lows, and some surprising verdicts.
Cooking Battle 1: Heart-Shaped Rasgullas
Task:
The contestants had to prepare five heart-shaped Rasgullas with the following requirements:
- The Rasgullas must have a perfect heart shape
- The color must be pink

Judging:

- Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera Shah – The shape and presentation were good, but the taste was extremely poor as the Rasgullas were undercooked.
- Sudesh Lehri & Mannara Chopra – The presentation was not impressive, and the flour was raw. The sugar syrup was too thick.
- Elvish Yadav & Abdu Rozik – The flour was slightly raw, and the syrup was thicker than required.
- Vicky Jain & Ankita Lokhande – The taste was disappointing, to the extent that Chef Harpal Singh spit it out.
- Abhishek Kumar & Samarth Jurel – They managed to get the heart shape right, and the color was accurate, but the taste was below expectations.
- Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya – Their Rasgullas also failed in terms of taste.
Result:
No pair won Cooking Battle 1 as all six pairs failed to meet the required criteria. As a result, no one received a Golden Star in this round.
Cooking Battle 2: Stuffed Bread Pakora with Chutney
Task:
Each pair had to prepare four pieces of stuffed bread pakoras with the following requirements:
- The pakoras should be triangle-shaped
- The outer layer must have a perfect golden color
- The texture should be crispy
- The dish must be served with at least one delicious chutney
Market Run for Ingredients:
One member from each pair had to collect ingredients from the market within a limited time. The chosen contestants were:
- Rahul Vaidya
- Samarth Jurel Kumar
- Ankita Lokhande
- Elvish Yadav
- Sudesh Lehri
- Kashmera Shah
Judging:
After completing the cooking, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi tasted the dishes. Here is how each pair performed:
- Abhishek Kumar & Samarth Jurel – The bread pakoras were crispy, and the chutney was well-made. Chef Harpal enjoyed the taste.
- Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya – They made multiple types of chutneys, which impressed the judge. The caramelized onions in their pakoras enhanced the flavor.
- Vicky Jain & Ankita Lokhande – The chutney had a good sourness, but the pakoras lacked taste.
- Elvish Yadav & Abdu Rozik – Their attempt was appreciated, but it did not stand out.
- Sudesh Lehri & Mannara Chopra – Their chutney had a rich sour flavor, and the addition of cashew nuts in the pakoras made them unique and delicious.
- Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera Shah – They made three types of chutneys, but none of them were impressive. The pakoras were good, but the chutneys did not add much value.
Winners of Cooking Battle 2:
After tasting all the dishes, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi announced two winning pairs:
- Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya
- Sudesh Lehri & Mannara Chopra
Both pairs were awarded a Golden Star for their efforts.
