Laughter Chefs Season 2 Episode 48, which aired on July 6, 2025, was the Guru Purnima special episode of the show. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, Maha Pandits from various popular temples across India appeared on the show. Celebrity contestants in this episode were tasked with cooking Guru Purnima special dishes such as Stuffed Malpua, Panchamrit, Kashiphal Sabzi, and Namkeen Puri.
At the start of Episode 48 of Laughter Chefs Season 2, host and comedian Bharti Singh introduced the Maha Pandits from various popular Indian temples as they joined the celebrity contestants to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima.
Host Bharti Singh also announced that the Grand Finale of Laughter Chefs Season 2 will take place in the next four weeks, meaning the confirmed date of the Grand Finale is Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Bharti Singh also revealed the latest leaderboard standings, with the current rankings (as of Episode 47) based on the total number of stars each celebrity pair has won so far:

After announcing the latest leaderboard standings, Bharti Singh noted that even the celebrity pair at the bottom of the leaderboard can win the show from this point onward, as many big twists in the coming weeks will offer them a chance to earn additional Golden Stars.

All seven pairs of celebrity contestants were challenged to make Stuffed Malpua and Panchamrit.

All seven pairs began cooking Stuffed Malpua and Panchamrit. After the allotted time limit for preparing both dishes expired, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi judged the Stuffed Malpua and Panchamrit made by each pair by tasting them and sharing his expert opinions. The result of Cooking Battle 1 was then announced.
Winning Pair:
Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi loved the taste, presentation, and texture of the Stuffed Malpua and Panchamrit prepared by Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel. He complimented them, saying, “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle,” and awarded them a Golden Star.
Before the announcement of Cooking Battle 2, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi declared that, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, there would be a Maha Bhoj. Cooking Battle 2 would involve two teams, with both teams preparing a Guru Purnima special Bhandara for the Maha Pandits who had arrived earlier.

All seven celebrity contestant pairs were given the challenging task of cooking traditional Indian dishes called Kashiphal Sabzi and Namkeen Puri.

After collecting the ingredients, both teams began cooking the Guru Purnima special Bhandara for the Maha Pandits and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Once the allotted time limit ended, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi tasted the Guru Purnima special Maha Bhoj prepared by both teams and announced the result of Cooking Battle 2.

Team B, comprising Rahul Vaidya, Rubina Dilaik, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Aly Goni, Reem Shaikh, Abhishek Kumar, and Samarth Jurel, won Cooking Battle 2. Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi loved the Guru Purnima special Maha Bhoj prepared by their team, and all four pairs of Team B were awarded Golden Stars.
