by Laughter Chefs Season 2, Episode 42 was filled with comic punches and some very silly but hilarious moments. The episode aired on 15 June 2025 on the Colors TV channel and was simultaneously streamed on the JioHotstar app. The highly respected Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi was once again seen judging the culinary skills of all celebrity contestants as they were given the task to compete in two back-to-back cooking battles, preparing complicated dishes like Kaju Kalash and Bharli Vangi.
Elvish Yadav’s partner Karan Kundrra and Rubina Dilaik’s partner Rahul Vaidya were once again not present in this episode as they were busy fulfilling other work commitments, so Elvish and Rubina paired together as a team in this episode. Host Bharti Singh was also seen making the live audience and celebrity contestants laugh with her funny jokes and witty comedic punches.
At the start of Episode 42 of Laughter Chefs Season 2, Hari Dham Sarkar, aka Bottle Baba, was also seen appearing as a special guest, and celebrity contestants were seen having a good time cracking some funny jokes with him as Bottle Baba was seen giving some very silly solutions to their problems.

Cooking Battle 1
All six pairs of celebrity contestants were given the tough job of cooking a dessert named Kaju Kalash.
Criteria for Kaju Kalash:

- Shape & Texture
- Perfect Sweetness
- Design Replication
All six pairs started preparing Kaju Kalash within the given time limit. After the end of the allotted time, Judge Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi started tasting the Kaju Kalash cooked by each pair, and then the result of Cooking Battle 1 was announced.
Winning Pair:
Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande
Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande impressed Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi the most with their Kaju Kalash dessert as it fully justified the criteria of shape, texture, perfect presentation, and sweetness. Chef Harpal complimented them with his signature dialogue of “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle” and awarded them a Golden Star.
Cooking Battle 2
All six pairs of celebrity contestants had to cook Bharli Vangi.
Criteria for Bharli Vangi:
- 2 Bharli Vangi
- Masaledaar Maharashtrian Filling
- Design
Host Bharti Singh announced the names of the contestants from each pair who would go to the pantry to collect the ingredients within the given limited time. Their names were:
- Elvish Yadav
- Samarth Jurel
- Vicky Jain
- Nia Sharma
- Kashmera Shah
- Reem Shaikh
After collecting the ingredients, all six celebrity contestant pairs cooked Bharli Vangi. Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi once again judged the dishes cooked by all the celebrity pairs, and after tasting the Bharli Vangi dishes made by all six celebrity pairs one by one, the result of Cooking Battle 2 was announced, and Golden Stars were awarded.
Winning Pair:
Sudesh Lehri and Nia Sharma
Sudesh Lehri and Nia Sharma’s Bharli Vangi dish outclassed every other pair’s efforts in the criteria of taste and presentation, as a result of which Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi declared them the winners of Cooking Battle 2 and awarded them a Golden Star.
