Let’s dive into the full written updates of the episode, including the two intense cooking battles and the winner announcements!
Cooking Battle 1: Rumali Papad & Banta Soda Jaljeera Challenge
Challenge Criteria:
- Rumali Papad – One crispy papad with innovative garnishing.
- Banta Soda Jaljeera – Two glasses of soda with a perfectly blended jaljeera flavor, made using homemade jaljeera powder.
All contestants had to prepare both dishes within the given time limit. After cooking, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi tasted each dish and provided his feedback:
Judge’s Reviews:
- Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya – Good crispiness in the center, but soft at the edges. Jaljeera soda lacked salt but had a nice blend.
- Abhishek Kumar & Samarth Jurel – Similar texture issues in papad. Jaljeera soda was declared the best so far.
- Vicky Jain – Papad was crispy. The soda had a good mix of masala and jeera but needed more salt.
- Elvish Yadav & Abdu Rozik – Papad was the crispiest, but the edges were soft. Their soda impressed the judge.
- Sudesh Lehri & Mannara Chopra – Papad shape was off and lacked crispiness. Their soda had less masala and salt.
- Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera Shah – Papad was too soft. Soda was overly spicy.
Winner:
✅ Vicky Jain won the Golden Star for the best overall dish!

Challenge Criteria:
- Maqluba (Upside-Down Rice Dish) – Must include at least three vegetables, with eggplant being mandatory. Presentation is key.
