by At the start of Monday Night RAW tonight on 10 January 2022, Bobby Lashley and MVP were watching Brock Lesnar on a monitor backstage. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin arrived there and they told Lashley that they’re happy that Hurt Business is reunited again. Lashley responds that he works alone now and he further tells them to hit the bricks.
Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were in the ring and Heyman does his typical Lesnar introduction. Lesnar gets giddy with excitement. Bobby Lashley’s music hits and both MVP & Lashley walks down to the ring. MVP s Lashley to the crowd and Lashley says that its an honor for him to be in the same ring with Lashley after all those years. He says that he knows Lasnar has been ducking him since last 20 years. Lesnar says that Lashley is not even on his level and he doesn’t even knew who Lashley was until Day 1. Lashley says that Brock is a comedian.

Paul Heyman – Who’s there?
Brock Lesnar – Bobby.
Paul Heyman – Bobby who?
Brock Lesnar – Exactly.
Brock further tells Lashley that its impossible to beat Brock Lesnar if you are a Lesnar wannabe. Lesnar drops the mic and leaves the ring. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin attacked Lashley from behind. Lashley handled them both with ease.
Alpha Academy becomes the new RAW tag team champions by beating RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle).

Seth Rollins cuts a promo and he says that he is excited for the Royal Rumble. Why? Because it’s the night he will become the new Universal Champion. Seth further says that at the Royal Rumble, it will be brother vs. brother, Roman Reigns against Seth Freaking Rollins and there are three things that are always true: death, taxes, and Seth Rollins beating Roman Reigns.

Big E interrupts Rollins promo. Big E says he is excited for Seth Rollins and his match at the Royal Rumble. Rollins asks why. Big E says he has officially entered the Royal Rumble 2022 match and he is chomping at the bit to go on to WrestleMania and defeat Rollins for a title. Rollins says Big E could never beat him. Big E wants to test that theory out tonight. Big E provokes Seth Rollins into saying yes.
Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. enters the ring and Rhea started cutting a promo but Nikki kept on cutting her off. Rhea says that they are out her to talk about the Royal Rumble. Nikki says that all this while she was doing Rhea a favour by staying in the team. Ripley says that now they’re done and she went to finish it off by shaking hands but Nikki says she won’t unless Rhea says that she still believes in her. Rhea obliges and they both hugged. On her way out Nikki attacked Rhea from behind and said that an almost superhero doesn’t need friends.
Backstage, Reggie was with 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke. They eventually gotten chased off by R-Truth, Tozawa, and Tamina. Reggie runs into Omos. Omos hems Reggie up and tells him to watch what he does tonight. He’s going to do even worse to Reggie next week.
During the Cutting Edge segment, Edge’s special guest tonight was WWE Hall of Famer (and his wife) Beth Phoenix. Phoenix joins Edge in the ring. Edge puts Phoenix over as a total badass. Edge shows a video package that highlights how much of a beast Phoenix was during her time in the ring. Phoenix tells Edge she’s going to break him off a piece tonight for putting her over. Phoenix promises to destroy Maryse at the Royal Rumble. Maryse and Miz interrupt. Miz tells the crowd that he stands with Ben Simmons (reminder: they are in Philadelphia tonight). Miz says he had Edge beat until he used Phoenix to win the match.
One of Miz’s spies let Miz know about the video Edge had made for Phoenix so he had an even better one made for Maryse. Edge puts over Maryse, but his wife can deadlift a Buick. Phoenix notes that all of a sudden, Maryse is as quiet as a mouse now that she is back. Phoenix promises to break Maryse. Miz goes on a rant telling Maryse how bad she is going to beat Phoenix at the Rumble. Maryse walks away. Phoenix says if Maryse doesn’t show at the Rumble, she’s going to take great pleasure in knocking Miz’s teeth in.
Alexa Bliss destroyed her therapist’s office after he showed her the footage of Charlotte Flair destroying Lilly.
After Doudrop wins the no. 1 contenders match for RAW Women’s Championship, Becky Lynch offered Doudrop a handshake. When Doudrop reaches, Lynch slapped her. Lynch tries a Manhandle Slam but Doudrop tosses her out of the ring.
