Love Island All Stars Season 3 Episode 6 Written Update (January 20, 2026): Jess Gets Betrayed by Charlie and Embarrassed by Tommy Publicly, Recoupling Sparks Drama

Jess Harding got ditched by Charlie Frederick and was then publicly embarrassed by Tommy Bradley in Episode 6 of Love Island All Stars Season 3, which aired on January 20, 2026. This 49-minute-long episode was filled with intense drama from start to finish, as some hearts were broken while new couples took shape.

During Episode 6, a heated argument between Scott and Charlie became a major talking point as Charlie was seen hurling abuses at Scott for interfering in his matters. Another recoupling inside the villa further changed the dynamics of the game.

Love Island All Stars Season 3 Episode 6 Charlie and Jess kiss at terrace

The episode began with Belle Hassan telling Jess that she was completely done with Sean and that if Sean ever came crawling back to her after getting ditched by Samie, she wouldn’t give him another chance.

Meanwhile, Millie and Scott discussed Charlie’s growing closeness with Jess over the past few days and their secret garden visit. Afterwards, Scott was seen having a private chat with Sean, advising him not to ruin his beautiful bond with Millie by flirting around with Jess. He reminded Sean that the villa is all about navigating the “grey area.” However, Charlie didn’t take Scott’s advice sportingly and told him to mind his own business, hurling abuses at him in the process.

The night ended on a tense note after the heated confrontation between Scott and Charlie. All the islanders went to bed — the six couples slept together, while Samie, AJ, Ciaran, and Sean slept alone since they didn’t have partners. Shaq was also seen kissing Helena in bed after the lights went out, breaking his earlier promise to AJ that he wouldn’t kiss either of them until he decided who he truly wanted to pursue.

The next morning, tensions flared again between Scott and Charlie, with Jess caught in the crossfire. Scott reiterated that his advice the previous evening had been correct, and all the boys agreed with him. Jess felt that Scott was indirectly blaming her for coming between Millie and Charlie, which left her in tears. She sat alone on a sunbed until Whitney comforted her.

Later in the day, the islanders received a notification about a recoupling that would take place that evening. The boys would choose their partners this time, but as AJ Bunker and Samie Elishi were the newest arrivals, they would get the first picks.

Afterwards, Charlie took Jess for a private talk on the terrace. He told her that he wanted to explore further and flirted with her, asking if she felt the same connection he did. When Jess agreed, Charlie suddenly kissed her — catching her by surprise. Before she could react properly, he kissed her again, giving her hope that he would choose her at the upcoming recoupling.

A while later, all the islanders received a notification to gather around the fire pit for the recoupling.

Recoupling Choices by New Bombshells

  • AJ Bunker chose to couple up with Shaq
  • Samie Elishi chose to couple up with Ciaran Davies
  • Konnor Ewudzi chose to couple up with Whitney Adebayo

Recoupling Choices by OG Boys

  • Charlie Frederick chose to couple up with Millie Court
  • Sean Stone chose to couple up with Helena Ford
  • Scott van der Sluis chose to couple up with Leanne Savannah
  • Jack Keating chose to couple up with Belle Hassan
  • Tommy Bradley chose to couple up with Jess Harding

During the recoupling, Tommy Bradley was the last remaining boy with no other options and had to unwillingly pick Jess Harding. While doing so, he publicly embarrassed her in front of everyone by saying that he didn’t want to be anyone’s second option and would have rather stayed single than couple up with Jess — but since he had no choice, he chose her.

After the recoupling, a heartbroken Jess broke down in front of the girls, saying she hadn’t expected Tommy to embarrass her like that. Meanwhile, some boys like Shaq felt Tommy was wrong, while Scott defended Tommy, saying he was right to stand up for himself and call out Jess’s double standards.

Later in the evening, Jess told the girls that Charlie had kissed her twice on the terrace after the recoupling was announced and even informed Millie about it. Millie then confronted Charlie, telling him he had done Jess dirty by giving her false hope. Charlie defended himself, saying he wanted to confirm his true feelings and that kissing Jess had helped him make that decision. The episode ended on that dramatic note.
