The first episode of Naagin Season 7, which aired on December 27, 2025, begins with the Mahakumbh of 2001 held at Prayagraj. All the gurus and aghoris gather there, wondering why they’ve been called and what the matter is. A man (played by Karan Kundrra) arrives and informs them that a major crisis is approaching. He apologizes for summoning them suddenly and explains that their goal — and their enemy — are the same. He warns that a new threat will emerge after 24 years, during the Maha Mahakumbh of 2025. When a guru asks what he means, the man replies that it is not he, but the grahas (planets) predicting this. He adds that an enemy nation will attack them.
The guru argues that the enemy country attacks often and questions how this man can predict the future. The man, introducing himself as a professor, explains that he studied the nation’s horoscope and confirmed his findings at the Nadi Mandir. When asked why they’re meeting now if the problem will arise decades later, the professor reveals that he has already received reports that the enemy has begun sending agents across the border.

Meanwhile, at Parmeet’s house, Parmeet asks his wife Nimrat if she’s done packing. She asks him to let her finish her work. Parmeet urges her to hurry, reminding her they have to cut their son’s birthday cake and leave for vacation the next day. The doorbell rings, and Parmeet opens the door to see a few men standing there. One of them, who had crossed the border illegally, lies that they’re pilgrims headed to the Mahakumbh and only need water. Parmeet welcomes them in, offers them food, and mentions that his family will also leave for the Mahakumbh the next day. However, when he notices their passports, the men kill him. Nimrat screams in shock, calling out Parmeet’s name.
Back at the Mahakumbh, the guru asks the professor how the problem can be solved and who will save them. The professor responds cryptically, saying, “She will come, and no one can stop her.” When asked who she is, he answers that she is Shiv’s vadharni, Naaglok ki rani, and Anantkul ki naagrani — Ananta. A sanyasini reminds everyone that the clan of Sheshnaag ended long ago, but the professor insists it’s impossible since Sheshnaag had Lord Shiv’s blessings. The guru asks where to find Ananta. In a flashback, the priest tells the professor where she can be located and instructs him to ask her to prepare for battle.
In the present, the guru asks who will go in search of Ananta. The professor volunteers, saying he will find the one who possesses the powers of Sheshnaagin. He later hands over his research to his son, asking him to keep it safe as his life may be in danger. The professor advises his son to always choose the nation first before leaving.
Parmeet’s friend expresses concern to his wife Shalini, saying Parmeet isn’t answering his calls. Shalini watches the news and becomes anxious. The professor arrives, saying he’s here to meet Ananta. Shalini’s husband insists that no one named Ananta lives there, but the professor explains that only Ananta can destroy the country’s enemies. The men who killed Parmeet overhear this and kidnap the professor.
Later, when Shalini’s husband opens the door after hearing a knock, Sheshnaagin (played by Tejasswi Prakash) arrives, asking for help. Shalini notices that Sheshnaagin is pregnant and takes her inside. Sheshnaagin gives birth to a baby girl and, realizing her end is near, begs Shalini and her husband to protect her child. She names her daughter Ananta.
A few hours earlier, while still pregnant, Sheshnaagin had spoken lovingly to her unborn child before being attacked by foxes. She fought them off but was injured. In the present, she names her baby Ananta, leaving Shalini shocked. Shalini takes the baby and smiles through her tears.
Meanwhile, the kidnapped professor is tortured by the enemy agents who demand to know who will destroy them. The professor defiantly says, “She will come — the Ichhadhaari Naagin blessed by Lord Shiv.” He dies soon after.
Twenty-Four Years Later – New Delhi, 2025
Shalini tells her husband that even after moving from Amritsar to Delhi, he hasn’t changed. He reassures her that everything has been arranged and asks about their daughters. Shalini says they’ve gone shopping.
At the market, Ananta (played by Eisha Singh) picks up a snake, leaving onlookers stunned. She gently places it beside a Shivling, chanting “Jai Bholenath” as the song Karpur Gauram plays in the background. Her neighbors praise her devotion and ask about Purvi (played by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary). Purvi, meanwhile, slips and falls into mud. Ananta rushes to help her.
Purvi shows Ananta a pair of earrings she had wanted. They return home, where Purvi complains about not getting a call back from the news channel she applied to. Ananta reassures her and tells her not to worry. Shalini’s husband asks if Purvi booked tickets for Prayagraj, and she admits she forgot. Shalini’s son Rohan reveals he already booked them, mocks Purvi as “stupid,” and makes her cry. Ananta playfully chases him in anger. At that moment, Uttara and Bharni (played by Alice Kaushik) are seen watching Ananta’s house, whispering about her. Ananta senses their presence, but they hide before she can spot them.
Later, as Ananta gets ready for a party, Purvi compliments her beauty and success. Ananta affectionately calls Purvi her jaan and promises to help her get a job in the channel, reminding her that she’s a fashion designer for anchors. Purvi smiles and insists that Ananta’s life is perfect.
Elsewhere, Aryaman (played by Namik Paul) celebrates as everyone congratulates him. His assistant announces her wedding, to which Aryaman jokingly responds that it’s terrible news. Pinky and Nisha join them and ask about the party. Aryaman says he’s busy and they can enjoy themselves. When he learns about Parmeet’s arrival, he hurries out, calling him “Dad.” Parmeet congratulates him warmly.
In the temple, Uttara Naagin narrates stories of previous naagins — Shivanya, Shivangi, Bela, Brinda, Bani, Pratha, and Pragati — before declaring that now, Ananta’s story begins.
At home, Shalini confides in her husband that they had once named their own daughter Ananta, but they changed her name to Purvi to hide her identity. Meanwhile, the junior naagin in the temple is stunned to see Purvi’s portrait there.
That marks the end of Episode 1.
Naagin 7 Episode 2 Precap: Purvi (Priyanka Chahar Choudhary) enters the Shiv temple, and Uttara declares that she has finally arrived. However, even she is unaware that she is a Naagin—the Naagrani of the Anant Kul, who is about to awaken. Today, she will remember her roots. As the transformation begins, Purvi turns into a Naagin and screams in agony.
